GARBAGE: The city of Miami removes garbage every MONDAY and THURSDAY morning. We provide three garbage bins on the side of the house. If you are staying during those days, and you feel the need to empty the bins, please put out any used garbage bins on the front of the driveway. If you could please bring the bins back by the side of the house we would appreciate it. If the bins do not need to be emptied don’t even worry about it, our cleaning team will take care of it right after your departure. PARTIES & EVENTS: We do not allow parties, receptions or events. The home is located in a residential neighborhood and local ordinances dictate no excessively loud music or noise after 10PM. This is our most important rule that can result in a termination of your reservation along with additional fees. PARKING: 2-3 cars can be parked on the driveway. Free parking on street. Overall, the entire family loved the home! The teenagers were very impressed with the look and flow of the home and enjoyed the pool and hot tub every night. They felt as if they had their very own apartment, given that it is essentially two units combined. There was plenty of room for everyone as there were 16 of us total. I would recommend more towels to be available or a set of pool towels onsite for the guests. The host always responded in a timely matter and was very accommodating. First, the neighborhood isn’t the best. It’s rated the 4th most dangerous area in Miami (2025). Then the house is filthy, they definitely didn’t clean the floors before we arrived and all of our feet were completely black from walking around the house. There is a horrible smell inside and every single room has an air freshener, with the main area that dispenses an automatic aroma that’s overpowering. You can still smell a disgusting smell, maybe from the furniture that may have mold or mildew. The furniture is not safe to sit on, the legs on the chairs around the kitchen table and the legs of the couch are wobbly and about to collapse. The bed mattresses are all stained and none of the beds have waterproof covers over them. The worst part is there are no fire/smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors anywhere in the house (downstairs or upstairs). I will say the backyard and space is the best part of the house. It’s hard to find a yard that big with a beautiful pool.
