There was prompt messaging but we didn't have WiFi access we needed for work obligations and had some difficulty getting prompt help from the host. We're pretty sure it wasn't an issue on our side of thingsThe shower was oddly dirty- if it wasn't so expensive I'm not sure I'd comment on it. There was a fair amount of grit in the shower. I felt safe there but unfortunately I spotted roaches on 2 occasions of my stay. The first time was in the shower and the host sent his cleaner to remove it a few hours later. There was another occasion where I was cleaning the kitchen area and after one spray a tiny iguana came out from the crack of the stove. Book at your own risk of pests. I hope the host clears the problem before offering the place again. I left 3 nights early because of the second roach sighting.
