The property itself is well located and the staff are very friendly. When we visited however both elevators were out of service, which from the signage did not appear to be a recent development. Additionally all rooms’ AC is centrally controlled by the hotel and set to a toasty 25C which made for a hot and unnecessarily sticky night’s sleep.

This is the second time we have stayed here for an overnight stop on our way driving home from Spain. Spacious apartment with cooking facilities, great when travelling with children. However, there has always been something broken. This year, the air conditioning unit leaked water all down the wall/onto the floor, the bathroom extractor fan didn't work and one of the bedroom lights was broken. In previous years the balcony door has been broken, not great when travelling with small children. This year, it was filthy underneath the beds and the bed covers smelt as though they had been put away when still wet. Despite this, the staff have always been very helpful and friendly.

The room was very large. It had a living room space; a mini kitchen with an oven, stove top, and microwave; and a separate bedroom area. Good deal for the price.

Lovely apartment, spacious and clean. however, one of the bedroom balcony doors did not lock and this was where our baby was sleeping so this was a security/safety issue. A curtain was missing from this room too so we only had one curtain in this room. The black-out shutter was missing from our other children's bedroom. I did report these issues ton reception and they did not know anything about them so clearly do not inspect the rooms very often.

Great safe place for Families!
Great Safe place for the family to spend the night.. everyone was super nice! I left some medicine and (2) 5 Euro bills and some receipts behind, by accident, and the housekeeper says she saw nothing.. a little disappointed, I would have given her the cash, I spent the last of my holidays in Europe with out my medication.. a little uneasy.. but.. my fault. Hotel wise.. everything is new and clean.

Nice Hotel
Lovely hotel in a quiet area. Easy walking distance to local village. A couple of restaurants there. One of them being an Italian pizzeria. We ate there. All seemed ok, but unfortunately we were both Illinois the night. So wouldn’t recommend there. There is a restaurant on site, but it was all choices I wouldn’t eat..ie.. raw ham, goat fish etc. So didn’t eat there. On the Sunday evening when we were feeling better, we walked up the road 15 minutes to a restaurant called Flunch. Lovely salad, steak and dessert. Recommend highly. Overall, no complaints about the hotel, ample parking and friendly staff. Good WiFi and air conditioning. Would stay again, but avoid the Italian Pizzareria!!

Great place - all you would expect from a Best Western and a bit more - lovely lobby with beautiful decor and an amazing garden. So lovely. Great as an entry point for the Loire Valley.
