Methven

Methven is situated 230 miles (370 kilometers) southwest of the national capital Wellington, and 50 miles (80 kilometers) west of Christchurch.

While it can be tempting to just kick back and relax when visiting Methven, keep in mind that the surrounding region's treasure-trove of scenic delights are never more than a day trip away.
