The Bower - located at the base of Mt Buller.

Nestled amongst the trees of Merrijig our mountain cottage is perfectly suited to families looking for a secluded, quiet and ambient escape.

Sleeping eight (8) people all three (3) bedrooms are provided with linen. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds and one with a queen bed & single bunk, main bathroom plus an additional toilet downstairs, a full kitchen and large dining table, a flat screen TV, CD player, drying room and BBQ provide you with a comfortable yet cosy country experience.

All bedrooms have panel heating and there is a euro wood fireplace and sitting areas that take you out and onto a spacious deck high amongst the tree line.

A bright and sunny open plan home with a quaint backyard with an abundance of wildlife visiting is ideal for your next country holiday. The deer graze in the garden in the afternoon and the king parrots enjoy a snack on the deck most mornings. Plenty of parking for groups and only a short 5-minute drive to the gates of Mt Buller.

The Bower - a base for snow trips to Mt Buller or enjoy the many outdoor activities and stunning scenery the High Country and Mansfield has to offer year-round.

We love staying off mountain (Buller). This place has the perfect look and feel. So cosy and warm but we will be back all seasons. If you are after a ‘real’ lodge this is for you.

On a beautiful block backing onto a creek where we saw platypus
