"The room we were initially placed in was filthy and smelled like an ashtray. The only good thing about the hotel was staff was helpful and assigned us a new room. The new room was acceptable only because we were only sleeping there and not spending anytime at the hotel. This hotel seemed like a transient hotel. This hotel was subpar, dirty and has seen better days…twenty years ago!"

"We love staying at Kingsgate! The rooms are always clean, spacious, and reflective of the area. The only downside is that it is a timeshare property so they will try to rope you into a seriously high pressure sales pitch."

"Definitely an older motel, but kept in good condition. Fairly basic, no daily housekeeping, but if you needed anything, all you had to do was ask at the front desk. Sean was wonderful!!!"

"Upon arrival I was a bit concerned because the property sits right on a main road and is surrounded by congestion. Then when we made our way to our room I was even more concerned due to the state of the hallways, which looked gross and unwelcoming. With all that said everything greatly improved when we walked into our room. The room was clean, the beds soft, and the amenities were excellent. We will definitely stay here again. I would recommend sprucing up the hallways as they do not match the rest of the property. "
