Convenient location at reasonable priced with hot breakfast in the morning is a no brainer deal. The staffs were also very friendly and helpful.
I will stay here again.
Thank you Merced Hotel for doing such a great Job!
Great price, everything worked, our room was clean, bed comfortable, shower was nice and hot. Breakfast had bacon, eggs, sausage, for $100 this is great value for the stay. Staff was friendly and handsome. Would stay again.
Great price! Excellent service and very convenient location. The staffs was friendly and the hot breakfast was very delicious. the room was very clean and comfortable bedding. I enjoyed my stay at the Merced Hotel. Thank you!
The room was clean, you get a working mini fridge, microwave, tv and a/c unit. The breakfast was a nice surprise, good options for the children and adults.

Not going to lie, the hotel needs updating in building itself as well as sim of the questionable patrons in our last stay. The rooms are decent sized, clean enough, though many holes and chopped paints in spots.
The HIGHLIGHT of this place is the front desk team and the managers. They are courteous, professional and taking care of the check in/out very well. I witnessed some transient being rude to the front desk staff but he never lost his composure.
Additionally, my husband left his wedding band behind and only discovered it when we arrived at our destination. We called the hotel and the manager went to the room himself and found the ring for us. He put it away with our name labeled on the sealed envelope and we were able to retrieve it 3 days later when we left Yosemite.
This incident clearly demonstrates the customer service and the integrity of the staff. We have faith this hotel will breath a new life soon, or I sincerely hope the staff move to a rewarding career.

Disliked: Amenities
The staff when arrived was nice and helpful. Also most others were.
Room was decent but not the best. They didn’t make up the room when I left the sign to do it. So no new towels or wash clothes.
Breakfast was junk and didn’t have much available. One of only reasons I booked was for free breakfast.
I did ask staff where I could park my truck to be monitored due to have full of tools and equipment. It was not and I had my stuff stolen out of my truck the first night staying.
So overall I will not book again. Also not happy with the booking experience with Experian as the hotel did not have my reservation. But it was eventually fixed after on the phone for a while.

Overall, the room was fine. It's in need of a refresh, especially the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was surprising good, hot foods (bacon, egg bites, potatoes and waffles) as well as bread, cereal, yogurt and juices. The price of the room was very good.

Hotel is a great deal, has an amazing staff and breakfast ! We will be coming back next year, and recommending to anyone who’s traveling near Yosemite!
The hotel needs updating. The elevator was not working so we stayed on the first floor which was pretty noisy. The breakfast was a bit sparse and food was not replaced when they ran out of items.
Expedia reviews are not what it makes you think. Broken elevators. Looked like they have residents living there on property.

The property is in a very good location, although they need to pay a bit more attention to maintenance—for example, the elevator was not working.
The beverage vending refrigerators were also not working.
But, overall, it’s fine.
Property not very clean. Smelled of dog poop, cigarette and marijuana usage. People he was watching our location. He said we can park in the driveway. They’re selling that house next-door for me 2 million out of here buy me a brand new one for a whole cell last time, I was here two weeks ago two weeks Breakfast was almost non existent. Hardly any food was put out and what was there seemed old or less leftovers. No fresh fruit, yogurt, bread or pastries.
Where to start. I feel bad for the staff because this poor review doesn't reflect on them at all. In fact, the elevator was not working, and my wife uses a mobility cart. He got us the last room on the first floor. Thank goodness. But it went downhill from there.
There were some questionable people staying there. This woman and man were fighting throughout the night, banging on the door and yelling so loudly that we slept very little. My dog was with us, and she kept barking because of the yelling.
The phone in the room was not working, and I was not able to call the front desk. The shower head had very little water pressure. Moldings throughout the room were falling off. The mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable. The small chair next to the desk was like sitting on a rock (not exaggerating).
I am truly sorry that the pictures and reviews did not match our experience. I wish you all well.
