This hotel is amazing.
We were celebrating an anniversary and upon on our arrival they had fresh orange juice and a chocolate mousse for us. Such a lovely gesture.
We loved how the mini bar is stocked with complimentary snacks and soft drinks/juices.
The staff are really professional and warm, they have a keen eye for detail and take hospitality seriously. After our first night dining in the restaurant (which was great) we returned to our room to find our bed turned down and chocolates at our bedside (another complimentary service). We were so astounded. They really go out of their way to make their guests feel valued and special. Breakfast is outrageously good with a great selection of baked items, charcuteries and made to order menu (the french toast is incredible!)
After our stay here we spent 2 nights at a similarly priced hotel and the difference in service, and offerings was shocking. We wished we'd stayed longer at the beautiful Vell. If you're planning something special and romantic I couldn't think of a better place.
