Raw Sewage Smell
Terrible smell of raw sewage from the bathroom, reported to reception, they didn't do anything about it... Chased them and then they sent a cleaner who squirted some bleach down the drains. Reported this again to the receptionist who offered us some breakfast and refused to move us (possibly fully booked). Was refunded the cost of a meal however after paying nearly £650 for this stay it in no way compensated us for the discomfort of sleeping in an apartment that stank of sewage.

This resort gives you nothing but vacation vibes. Rooms are centered around their beautiful pool, offering many lounge chairs for sunbathing. We observed many couples and families enjoy the amenities this resort has to offer. Our room was a self catering unit with a quaint balcony and a view of the ocean. The layout of the space is very functional and the airconditioning was a lifesaver on hot days. Basic amenities were provided, so no need to pack any. The resort felt safe which is always something we look for when traveling to an unknown destination. Various restaurants and the beach is within walking distance. Just make sure to pack comfortable walking shoes and sunscreen as there is so much to see. You can ask the hospitality team for a beach umbrella which they'll happily offer. We were able to keep ours for the duration of our stay and returned it on our last day. We visited the restaurant one night after a night on the town for a nightcap. Live entertainment was provided and the artist was phenomenal. The Aparthotel Nelva Resort is situated literally around the corner from Club Menorca which offers a spectacular view of this stunning Balearic island. Cala'n Porter is one of the best places to stay when visiting Menorca. We are so happy to have found Aparthotel Nelva Resort.

Nothing it was very very basic. Smelled really bad never looked like pictures not accessible with anyone with young children on a hill and contained very steep stairs made of tiles that you have to walk up to go down not well designed. Also the stairs are constantly wet from people getting out of the pool where we saw many young children slip and hurt themselves. Hung out swim wear to dry and it was stolen this happened to a number of other guest . Real mixture of guest from groups of young people , family’s and those of retirement age. Why you would go here as a group of young people is beside me there is nothing around here?

Family stay.
There was lots of great points about this property. The outside area & pool is lovely, and there is a lovely chilled atmosphere… no rushing for sunbeds and being able to use the pool well into the evening is amazing! the food onsite is good and the staff are friendly. It’s also in walking distance of one of the most beautiful beaches. However despite all that I wouldn’t recommend or return. The main reason is that there is no staff onsite from midnight til around 8am, resulting in groups of people using the pool area in the very early hours of the morning usually on their return from a night out , bombing in the pool and being very loud. Which isn’t great when you have young children. The hotel is in walking distance of the only club in the area, making it quite popular with groups of young adults. The rooms are quite dingy and are in need of a clean up and makeover and not very comfortable. There is only one air con unit, making the bedrooms quite warm. Anyone can use the pool and locals do, so maybe stay nearby in a nicer, quieter place and come to use the pool?! That’s what I would do next time!

Friendly staff. Cot that I asked for was not ready at check in. No reception staff at check in and we had to wait. We were unlucky with weather so it was really cold but only one AC/Heating in living room, my twins were cold and I got a cold from first day. In order to get warm, we have to open all doors and have heating on in living room. Hot water didn't seem to be on when we arrived so my twins couldn't shower. Floor wasn't very clean so my husband had to clean it. Not soundproof to any extend. Otherwise it's pretty comfortable apartment.

We loved it
My wife and I loved this hotel. It was easy to check in and get our key. It is nice and clean, the room is way bigger than we expected! The location is amazing, right in between Cala en Porter beach and Cova Xorai. Easy to walk to little downtown area and get food/coffee! Great breakfast buffet! It was absolutely perfect for our little weekend trip. And price wise, it is an amazing deal!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Pool and restaurant are great. We had 3-bed apartment, spacious enough for 6 people, adequate kitchen. Slight inconvenience was the only bathroom/WC which was a bit run-down and there was drain smell sometimes. Comfy beds. Good shower.

The property was a little bit isolated from the main town. Not too far normally, but with the area being very hilly, it was a bit of a chore to go into town or the supermarket., and then have to shlapp back! We went in early June and the whole resort and the hotel was very quiet. Which was good for getting a sunbed at anytime of the day, but not a lot of social atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was pretty good. The staff were also good. We were staying in a ‘basement’ apartment, and the place was freezing! Even with the temperature outside at about 23 degrees, we had to have the heating on. It was especially cold at night in the bedrooms, and we had to ask for extra bedding, twice!!.. Also, whilst not a problem for us, housekeeping was pretty infrequent, but maybe because it was in the low season??..

Lovely resort, close to beach and shops
This resort was very nice, the room was large and spacious, including a kitchen space, living area, air con and a large bathroom. The pool was nice, although sometimes crowded. The restaurant was good although we mostly opted for self catered options in our appartment. Unfortunately, although this is generally a quiet family resort, we did have a group of 6 young men staying in the room below us and as this resort is a 5/10 minute walk from the only nightclub on the whole of menorca, it obviously encourages occasional groups such as this, who were very loud and kept us up on more than one occasion.

Great resort, good location
Located a 5-10 minute walk out of town, Nelva resorts is situated in a nice quiet part of Cala en Porter, a lovel town in Menorca with a fantastic beach. The resort is great, lovely restaurant with a fantastic menu and pool. The accomodation is nice and spacious and they provided a cot for our young baby, set up ahead of schedule. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and I would definitely recommend to a friend. The lighting in the apartment was a little dark, making it seem quite dingy at nighttime, but this is a small negative for what was a great holiday in a lovely town / island. The beach is phenomenal with great restaurants throughout the town, I'd thoroughly recommend El Pulpo and the pizza restaurant down on the beach.

Comfortable apartment in pretty resort
Nelva’s staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. The only issue was our bathroom which smelt awful all of the time and had no ventilation fan or window. The pool area is lovely, surrounded by lush plants & trees. It’s about a 15 min walk to the beautiful beach & village centre, which has a few good restaurants. I would definitely recommend Nelva Resort and will very likely return. However I will not be ordering a G&T from the bar; at €10 each when can be bought for just €4 or €5 from other bars & restaurants.

Possibly the time of year we stayed - mid Sept, but we had to share with an array of unwanted guests. No mirror in bedrooms, cupboard doors missing, decor poor, hairs on the bed post 'clean', pillow cases missing. On a plus the breakfast was good.

Took a gamble on a hotel - it paid off
The advanced pictures of this newly renovated looked very promising and took a gamble on booking it. Was not disappointed, the staff could not of been more helpful, for example in booking trips where our Spanish was not as good as it could be. Showing us to our room on our first night even helping with a case though it was not requested demonstrate going the extra mile. The room had a modern vibe and had some better than usual beds for a Spanish resort which was best are normally boards with a cloth covering. Parking was easy and a great treat for us was not having to get involved with the early morning sunbed reservation ritual as there were always plenty of beds available and people for once were considerate in how they reserved them. Overall a great hotel and would stay again for sure.

This Resort far exceeded our expectations! We came as a group of 3, myself and my (adult) Daughter's for a chilled long weekend ahead of my eldest Daughter's wedding. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was very conveniently located by the pool, well equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and good quality linens and towels. We arrived mid morning prior to the room being g ready but we're able to leave our luggage with the delightful lady at Reception, we went to the bar/dining room/terrace area for a drink, lunch and made use of the pool. The food available at Nelva is very tasty, it's more of a snack bar type menu but it is very good, breakfast was incredible with gluten and lactose free options, fresh cheeses, meats, bacon, scrambled eggs, breads, pastries, cereals, fruits, juice, tas coffees. There is also a cabinet freezer sticked with the usual ice-creams, prices were reasonable too. The pool is warm, children's paddling area and the main pool is a good depth to have a swim. There were plenty of loungers, umbrellas, tables and nearby toilets. The Nelva is located about 7 min walk to the nearest supermarket, and Xoroi Caves are around the corner. The Nelva staff are polite and friendly, everyone says hello. I sense a great deal of pride and hard work is going into making Nelva Resort a success and I wish them the very best! We'll be back again next year to repeat. Thank you Nelva Resort xx

Es segundo año seguido que voy a Menorca, y me repetí el plato en el “Nelva Resort” porque es perfecto. Perfecta ubicación, completas instalaciones a minutos de la playa. Tony y su personal son muy atentos y gentiles!! 100% recomendado!

Très déçus par cet hébergement, nous étions logé au rez de chaussé sur rue, avec des porte fenêtres qui ne fermaient pas à cle! Le logement était sombre, sentait le moisi, la cuisine mal équipée et la salle de bain toute petite avec un manque d’aération accentuant des odeurs de renfermés. De plus le village de cala en porter n’est pas charmant ce qui n’arrange rien… nous sommes parts avant la fin de notre séjour malgré avoir réglé l’intégralité du séjour La qualité n’est absolument pas à la hauteur du prix!

Hôtel avec un accueil très sympathique. Apparemment propre. Piscine très agréable Restaurant rapide (snack bar) au bord de la piscine super bon Juste, la porte d’entrée dans notre appartement qui était un peu vieillotte (les fenêtres aussi) et du coup, problème de bruit surtout la nuit avec le vent, il fallait caler la porte pour ne pas avoir de bruit. Odeur très désagréable dans la salle de bain venant des canalisations.
