"Darren, the homeowner and innkeeper, met us at the door to this lovely home/inn. He welcomed us with a smile and conversation about the history behind Sassafras Inn and Mena, We sat and visited for about an hour. Our suite was extremely large, (2 rooms), complete with coffee and refrigerator. He then provided us with his homemade, organic blueberry muffins that were to die for. Very cozy atmosphere and a soft bed was just the remedy for a long day in the road. Highly recommend this wonderful...

"Perfect place to unwind and getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin is little but was clean, cute, and well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. Kitty was great to work with, communicating regularly and making sure everything was up to par. Several little things were a pleasant surprise such as homemade snickerdoodles, pine knot for the fire pit, stocked coffee pods, fishing gear, etc. Beautiful and serene place."

Very Enjoyable!
"The house is small and cozy but absolutely perfect for a week in the woods. There are so many supplies that we didn’t want for anything. The location is a very short ride to the north trail head, which is exactly what we wanted! There was plenty of space for the truck, trailer, and two ATVs to be parked. We enjoyed our stay!"
