It may be West Texas, but be warned; the room was filthy beyond anything you have seen. The bed table is full of toenail clippings and maggots. simply disgusting

I was unsuccessful in checking in early. Upon my return, lady at the front desk had an extremely difficult time navigating through the simple check in process. She seem confused and unfamiliar with the system. Not a native English speaker and was difficult to understand.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However the facility was very dated and there were roaches and bugs in our room. Staff came in and sprayed but the building itself needs upgrading. Nothing they could have done.

Shower head was clogged. No cold water in the shower area. Had to take a hot water shower. The building smells old and moldy. Slept in another hotel and did not want to go back to it.

In the edge of this small Texas town, this Travel Lodge fit the bill! The owners were friendly and helpful.

Our stay was just OK. We slept well but the highway was so close to the property that the noise of large trucks driving by was not the best. The pool was very nice, well kept, and clean. Little things in the room like the bathroom door was breaking at the bottom and should be repaired. For the price of the room I should not complain too much.

When I saw this property "by Wyndham" I expected more than what was there. The sheets seemed clean, the carpet did not. The coffee at the cont brkfst was decent. This establishment seems to be struggling in a struggling city. Did not meet expectations

We loved the people and it was so conveniently located. The only issues we had were that there is a train track nearby that ran 24 hours a day and while pet friendly, there wasn't a lot of grassy areas for them to bathroom in. The breakfast was really good for a continental type.

Not the greatest
This hotel is extremely date. From the decor to the bedding. Everything was old, room had the typical musty hotel smell, towels were hard, bed spread had many small holes, carpet needs shampooing, chairs need replacing (arms are filthy). I guess this is to be expected in a town with only 2 hotels. Take it or keep driving. But, at the end of the night I slept fairly well.

After killing a couple of roaches, finally got to sleep. The place is in need a huge update, new lights in the rooms, sheets had stains in them, towels are so rough it is time to throw them out and get some towels that are not like sandpaper. Operators are tripping over dollars to pick up pennies..... would not stay here again.

Dear Guest JoelWe had lot rain this year and these are bital and not roach that will walk in room when you exterior properties with door open and walk in with you and we are sound by farming community. Also our electronic juice and coffee machine was not of order but due to kid with guest press to many buttons on machine and it will be stop defenseing coffee or juice. Any hotel you go to inform at front desk and it easy fix for staff instead you post bad reviews for hotel. Thanks you for staying with us and bring to our attention. Thanks

Not exactly what I'd call a "nice" place -- desperately needs updating/refacing. It was dark and dank and it made me wonder if it was clean or not. Served the purpose of a place to sleep for a few hours before hitting the road again.

Not clean, or we’ll kept. They also charged our card unknowingly to us and when I called to resolve the man on the phone accused us of stealing a remote. It’s rediculous and after explaining to him that the TV was not even turned on, he instead that remote was taken by us. He yelled and continued to accuse after I repeatedly vetoed that I repeated time and time again the TV was NEVER used. After telling him I would reach out to Expedia he threatened to call the cops because we “stole”.

This location is very old, but has been updated. The staff is very friendly. The town has very few restaurants or stores. It has one diner, a sonic and a Dollar General. But this hotel is much cheaper than ones in nearby towns, so its the perfect place to lay your head while traveling. I also like the idea of parking right by your door.

The pool was nice and well maintained. Right off 287 so lots of road noise. Front desk was efficient. No problem. The room was adequate. Stains on the sheets. Bed bug cover on the mattresses. Basic.

Worst experience on a trip, the window units weren’t on when we got there and the room was 100 degrees and would not cool off the room. The room was dirty, there was hair on the floor, stains on the chair. Would not recommend! We figured it would be not the best with the price but the pictures are very deceiving!

Just what we needed
It’s an older hotel but was just what we needed: right off the highway, comfortable beds, nice shower, microwave & fridge, and enough room to spread out and not get in each other’s way. Not spotlessly clean but adequate. Breakfast was simple but good. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.
