"Great hotel. I was well located, very close to avenida dos aliados. Easy to move around. The hotel was clean, nice=, the gym was very good, and the buffet breakfast was very good as well. The restaurant in the roof top also seem very nice with live music (even though we did not actually dine there). We were a family of 4 and asked for to connecting rooms, which they gave it to us. The rooms were great, comfortable and with good A/C"

"The hotel is a box as they tell you. Is a good adventure; one can rest as there is nothing in the room. I only had a one small backpack so no problem, there are lockers outside your room “box” to put the big luggage. It is quiet and an experience; good price and great location. One gets so tired of walking at Porto that you don’t need more than a great bed and a clean bathroom."

"Mario arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport, which was really thoughtful and helpful. Mario was there on arrival and was able to show us around.The taxi driver (Fernando) also arranged pick ups for us when we were there, if he couldn't do it. He spoke good English.The house was amazing, as well as the tennis courts and the pool. The pool could do with a cover, as trees debris and small insects would fall in.It's a good location to Porto, in a quiet neighbourhood, it's not a tourist area. The view from the balcony was so lovely and it felt like a real break, very peaceful.Mario and Fernando, went the extra mile for me, when I forgot my passport at the house, on the day I left! Thank you for a lovely break. My kids and my dad want to return!"

"Great area to rest and relax. Beautiful scenery. The house is very large. Great kitchen. Mostly all positive. If I had to be picky, I would say the water is not drinkable, so you need to buy bottled water. Also, the upstairs bathroom had a funny smell, expected in with older homes. We had a great stay."

"The most beautifully and friendly hotel with lovely and helpful staff. The great smile from all the staff was the most pleasing item of this holiday for me and my wife. Hotel was located outside Porto with an easy access to central Porto by uber or bolt. If you are looking for relaxing and friendly location this is the place to stay."

"This is an old family home, that hasn't been updated for holiday guests. The hosts are warm and friendly, they will come and let you in. They often pop around although always ask you first. It is like staying at a relative's spare house. Some people will find this charming others disruptive. The pool and outside space is great, very little nearby but a cheap taxi ride into Porto. Fantastic restaurant a 10 minute cab away in Rio Tinto - Ponte do Freixo."
