The apartment itself was generally pretty clean, but there was a really gross stain running down the outside of the toilet bowl which I had to clean myself because I couldn't deal with looking at it the whole weekend. The walls in the corridor outside the apartment on my floor were pretty grotty too to be honest, and piling rubbish up against a wall near the lifts isn't ideal. I had a little trouble with using the lifts at one stage as well; when I pressed the button to call a lift to the ground floor, the only one that would respond didn't go higher than the 9th floor. My apartment was on the 40th floor and my security pass wouldn't allow me to go to any other floor so I had to just wait for ten minutes till someone used the correct lift to come to the ground floor themselves. It sounds like a lot of complaining, but I was actually pretty happy with my stay - the view was amazing, apartment was well stocked and the heater was much appreciated given how cold it was outside. We stayed in Room 4110\. Communication was good, check-in was quick. We had stayed there last year and was impressed, however we were disappointed in our room this year. The drainage from the shower was horrific. 1st shower, there was water on a third of the bathroom floor, and was evident we weren’t the first ones this had happened to - the timber around the door frame had been taped down on one side & coming apart on the other. The room was dusty & hadn’t been vacuumed. During the night, the wall creaked right near the bed head - no sleep at all (3 nights out of 5).
