Lovely getaway!
I definitely recommend this home to anyone seeking accommodation in the Safety Beach area. Silvana was very helpful and quick to reply to messages which was appreciated. The house is comfortable, very clean and well-appointed. A great place for a weekend getaway with friends!

Very old but bathrooms and kitchen wqs clean. Smell was very strong. Among the many things we were disappointed with, the carpet was very stained and dirty and we did not have access to the back yard however it was too hazardous for our dog to go out there. Definitely will not be back.

The place has 2 new bathrooms , new pergola ,, great kitchen , new staircase ( rusty bits?). Its not a house that was built tomorrow but a quite decent one .

Beach holiday home
Traditional holiday home, bit rusty on the outside but everything very neat and tidy inside. We are quite fit but if you struggle with mobility and stairs may want to look for something else. We were very happy with our stay and the communication with the host.

People like you should b banned from renting any property for making FALSE and MISLEADING allegations. The reviews speak for themselves. If you re angry with life no need to insult others . What you have stated couldn't t be further from the truth. Reviews speak for themselves anyway so all who read yours will know how dishonest you have been. What kind of person lies like this. I have called Stayz and made a complaint about you and they told me it s not the first time they ve had a complain t about you. Maybe you WILL be banned that way you don t damage reviews with are MADE UP in your own mind. How do you sleep at night Mirella?

OK house, but no linen!
Hi, house was pretty much as advertised, except that there were no sheets or pillowslips on the beds. Whilst we were asked to bring towels (and we did so that was fine) we arrived late in the evening to find beds did not have proper linen. we had to sleep with what we had - which was not OK!

Hi Jenny the ad clearly states no linen supplied. I asked as a one of if towels could be bought there as I was very unwell to bring them up and if you couldn't t I d get someone to bring them up for me.. Thank you

When we booked for wedding accomodation in July the description of this house said "upstairs only" but did not indicate that there were 18 stairs that ruined our weekend for the later stage MS wheelchair bound Mother of the groom. Upstairs only on a sloping block does not necessarily mean stairs. When we rang STAYZ no other accomodation could be found so we were stuck. The property manager was rude when we eventually made contact with her. Apart from the stairs there were Safety Issues - slipery steps, lifting decking boards, unstable tiling, mould in the showers, powerpoint off the wall, unsafe BBQ and incorrectly installed gas heater outlet fire hazard. Cleanliness - dirty window sills, range hood, aircon top, oven, fridge freezer and sinks and thick dust on skirting boards etc. 20+ cushions, painting and plastic flowers do not make up for some poor fundamentals such as broken fan in bathroom, 1 t-towel only, blinds that do not work, a shower head that does not stay up and an overgrown garden. We have photo evidence of all issues. I hhave never written a negative review before but this was a very unpleasant experience.

For starters Sue would you call a property owner who out of the kindness of her heart REFUNDED some money to you because of your disappointment and complainig. I made it quite clear you could leave and not pay but you chose to stay and stated you would stay for free the whole time. Who s the rude one here.. 95 % of clients have only good things to say of it. Also you only need to read the comments about the property owner to know what you are saying is false. The block is completely flat and thanks for telling me how many stairs there are I never counted. You have exaggerated everything you have mentioned here to the extreme and all you have to do is read the other reviews. At the end of the day it's a 4.3 star rating so it speaks for itself. Next time rent a brand new place as I m sure you must complain in every place you stay. In all my years of accommodating guest you have been the absolute rudest most difficult client so if you wanted to stay again I would never have you anyway. You have lied about everything as you wanted a 100% refund and to still stay there.. The rude one is you and not I. Read the reviews about the property owner. I will not be insulted by you

Value for the money.
We had a lovely weekend away at this property in the middle of winter, the heater keep the house nice and warm. The house locates at a quiet neighbourhood street and walking distance to the beach. Spacious bedrooms to share between 2 families with 3 adults and 4 kids. Make sure you bring your own kitchen knife, cooking oil, salt and pepper if you plan to cook. No hairdryer either, lukily we brought our own.

Relaxing place to get away
The house is in a great location and was nice and quiet. Very spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The property manager was excellent with communication, thanks Silvana. We enjoyed our weekend and wished we could have stayed longer.

Renovations??? With 2 BRAND NEW bathrooms modern kitchen BRAND NEW decking. BRAND NEW tiling at back area of house it needs renovation? I d say you re probably better suited to a $1000 p/n property which is fully renovated for you. Im really not sure why you booked mine ,you should focus on a brand new one next time at double or triple or quadruple the cost. No point booking a property under $500 if you want it brand new.

The bed collapsed at least six times, in that I put my knee on the mattress and the slats underneath fell in to the floor, hurt my foot. The front door doesn’t slide and can’t be locked from inside. This is an expensive place to stay and personally I could only justify the exorbitant charge if I was there with two families and kids, there is a big kitchen table with uncomfortable chairs and two bathrooms, these things work for a crowd. The couches and tv were the only saving Grace.

Great location and relaxing stay with dogs
We had a wonderful stay in Safety Beach! Communication with the property owner was easy and made the stay carefree and relaxing. The house isn’t fancy, but it’s clean and homely - it was perfect for us as it was pet friendly and walking distance to the beach and Dromana centre.

On arrival the door wouldn’t open and not running probably on tracks which continued to cause issues every time you went in or out the door. The place had obviously not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Dish rack full of dishes, dirty cutlery in sink and stove filthy! Fridge full of things from previous people including herbs that had gone off! Confetti on floor throughout house and food on the floor. Empty toilet rolls in every bathroom with the bathroom being the cleanest room in the house. Definitely would not recommend this place. I read all reviews prior and was disappointed it was below expectations for both myself and my family!

I am terribly apologetic Emma but unfortunantely i had a one off cleaner i never used as mine was i ll. She took my money and obviously didn t. I just wish you had notufied me upon arrival rather than put up with that disgusting mess. I am more than happy to offer you a free stay in a CLEAN house as it has ALWAYS been as you can see from the reviews or offer you some reimbursement. Also front door has comes off tracks at times lately and is getting repaired. Sincerest of apologies. .

Seaside escape
We had a lovely time away staying at Safety Beach. The only issue was opening and closing the door was really tricky as the door stuck in the tracks and wouldn’t move and the key was difficult to turn in the lock. The place itself was lovely.

Very Well Located - roomy and functional
You cant beat the location and functionality of this property. Would be better with linen, wifi and some cooling to the bedrooms. On hot days the air will struggle to coll the bedrooms. Its easy and comfortable and is a good option for families focused on the beach.

Friendly owner, great location.
Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable and all the slats fell on the ground in the middle of the night. This was not fun at all. The house smelt like an ashtray and contains no wine glasses which was Dissapointing. Reasonably sized house. I won’t be back.
