Modern & clean. Loved having sep lounge room (was reason for choosing). Staff were very helpful & courteous. Location was convenient, at northern end of city. Will stay again. 🙂

Unfortunately the hotel is divided into two... yes, that's right... the main hotel is the Mantra and a couple of floors are part of the Melbourne Suite This means that when we arrived we had to look for the desk to check in which is located on floor 8 and then went down to floor 4 where our room was The guest reception is an old room used for check in and out You almost feel like you're entering a slightly uncomfortable situation 😑 Our room was spacious but nothing special... no wifi and obviously no smart TV... the small kitchen was very poor... inside the minibar there was just a small pack of 100ml milk and nothing else no even water!!!! So it's very convenient if we're talking about walking nearby because its in the CBD No car park included so we had to pay $35 extra The girl who welcomed us was very kind and professional but apart from that nothing really.

Spent 3 nights in Melb visiting my cousin - excellent affordable clean large generous rooms in ultra-convenient central city location with friendly, helpful, and cheerful staff. Would definitely stay there again.

It’s a new hotel on several floors inside of an existing hotel. They have no name on the outside and so it’s very confusing for your customers.

New kid on the block. Quite an interesting model they work on. It is 2 Hotels in one building. They let you know ahead of time how things work. The location of the building is great - just a 10 minute walk from Southern Cross Station / Sky Bus Terminal and heaps of dining options around the area. The room is really spacious, extremely clean and the staff is super friendly. They have limited car park spots at the hotel but heaps available 300 mts down the road - very convenient. I should say, very impressed. Well done. Only downside was the weather when we arrived - but cant fauly anyone for that.

Overall, we had a great experience staying here. The room was large, the bed was comfy and most importantly, the room and bathroom were super clean (I always judge a room by the grout in the bathroom and no faults to be made here!) The only negative was the strange check-in and 'sublet' of the apartments which I didn't feel was made clear when making the booking. It was strange to have to check-in at what seemed like a makeshift reception in a room within an established hotel. I would still book here again as the room for the price was amazing, but I felt that the odd check-in arrangement should have been made clearer in the booking.
