Definitely a really well done apartment stay
We both were impressed by the apartment and the level of attention to all of the small details for a great stay. Well done manual, great assortment of Foxtel channels. Umbrella's available by the door all of it was wonderfully done.

Warm welcome from Paul even though we arrived late at night. Spacious apartment with secured parking. 2 bathrooms are perfect for a 4-people family. Kitchen is well equipped. We spent five nights here. The plumber of shower got some problems and made high pitch noise during shower on our second night. We informed Paul and he said he would fix it. Unfortunately, it was not fixed until they day we left. It is a little bit disappointing.

Hi Angel We were so happy to hear you enjoyed staying in one of our spacious apartments and also found that your kitchen had all the necessary equipment for cooking. With regards to the noise in your apartment, the plumber came the same day as it was reported. Unfortunately it was an area out of our control as the noise was caused by a problem with the piping on the outside of the apartment. The plumber worked tirelessly to try and rectify the problem as soon as he could as it turned out to be a major problem which affected all of the apartments on your floor. The noise wasn't that loud when I inspected your apartment and it only sounded when turning on the hot water, it didn't make any noise for the other time during your stay. We hope you enjoyed your time in our wonderful city.

Great apartment with all you need for a stay in Melbourne. Priced around the same level as a hotel room but so much better with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and laundry facilities. Situated slightly away from the centre of the CBD but within the free tram area so travel in and out was easy. Paul and Belinda were lovely to deal with and super accommodating. We'll definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 4 nights, and thought it was great. Loved having 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the washer and dryer. The condition of the place was terrific, great views, and 500 feet from a tram stop. My 2 concerns with the place was the location---great location in the docklands, but kinda far from the center where federation square/shopping on collins st. is. You have to take a tram there. My other issue was that they told me I had to take the trash out to avoid cleaning charges... Hotels never tell you to take your own trash out. They are already going to clean the place for the next guest, so I dont see the need to tell the guests to take out their trash. Other than that, its a great place...roomy too!

Thank you for you review. With regards to the location we find most guests enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle and noise of the city CBD. The free tram right out side your door only takes 10 minutes to get to the city CBD centre. Also we are not a hotel we provide residences for those guests who prefer to stay in a fully self contained home environment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Excellent location to neighborhood restaurants, Docklands, free tram. Fabulous view of Melbourne skyline, modern and comfortable apartment. Only negatives was hard to find on arrival as not clearly marked and dishwasher did not work. The person we contacted on arrival to check us in was friendly and helpful.

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your time with us and that you found the apartments to be in a excellent location. We regards to your check-in, we sent several emails to you detailing our 'check-in procedure' which also notes that we are not a hotel. We provide luxury large apartments in a residential complex. There are no signs outside and we greet each guest personally on arrival which was explained in our emails. With regards to the dishwasher upon inspection by our maintenance man he reported that there was nothing wrong with it. There is a manual in the apartment which details how to use each appliance. If you had of contacted us during your stay we could have sent someone to have a look at it. We hope you had a safe trip home.

Stayed in a two bedroom unit for five nights. Host Paul was knowledgeable in relation to neighbourhood re shopping, restaurants etc. Unit itself had everything and was extremely clean and spacious. Nice views. Good wifi. Definitely recommend and will stay again.

Great location
Great location with easy access to many attractions. Large apartment with excellent views. It came equipped with everything we needed for a one week stay. My kids loved the large pool. We would definitely stay again.

Great location and wonderfully furnished
This was the perfect hotel for our stay. We traveled in and out of the city daily and this location provided extremely easy access to everywhere we were headed. The room was clean and stylish and equipped with everything 4 adults need for a very comfortable stay. Would absolutely stay here again.

We try to make things easy for our guests with regards to supplying large quantities of tea, coffee, sugar, paper towels, serviettes, cooking oil, salt, pepper, dish washing liquid, toilet paper and clothes detergent. This apartment was amazing. Great location, great views, and was huge. We had the best time possible in Melbourne,and the apartment certainly played its part. We had a "Fake" Christmas dinner here, with family and friends and the Kitchen set-up, dining table and spacious apartment meant it was as close to Christmas at home as possible.

We stayed for 3 nights and as soon as we opened the door we were impressed.The view over to the water and parks below, the bright and tastefully appointed room, it was extremely clean and LARGE. Located in a great spot that allows for a quiet stay but not far from the action. We walked to the restaurants, cafes and shops easily while I was 8 months pregnant. Everything has been thought of, from his and hers umbrella's for the unpredictable Melbourne weather, every cooking utensil you could need, toiletries, tea and coffee making supplies, free WIFI and Foxtel. Whilst we didn't have our young son with us the balcony would be very safe and the generous room would make it perfect for families. Arrival and departure was a breeze, with a generous sized car park. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. Thank you so much, we will be back.

Perfect location and huge room
The apartment was in a perfect location, still within the free tram zone which made heading to the city very convenient. The apartment itself was huge and stocked very well with everything you could need or want for a short stay. There was dishwashing powder and laundry powder as well, plenty of towels and a beautiful view of the docklands precinct. The communication prior to the stay was excellent and the parking space was adequate. We also required a cot for the duration of our stay (we had our one year old son with us) and it was set up and ready to go once we arrived. Paul and Belinda were very easy to communicate with and everything was just perfect. It really was like a home away from home.

Great apartment in great location. This is not a hotel but Manager lives on site and process for keys etc was really simple. Clean spacious apartment right by tram lines in free zone. Highly recommended.

Great apartment a walk from Melbourne CBD
This was an excellent 2 bedroom apartment just a 15 minute walk or 5 minute tram ride from the centre of Melbourne. It was clean and comfortable, with a modern kitchen with all the equipment needed and more. Good TV, internet, laundry. It was also quiet, with no disturbances. In short, no complaints whatsoever.

Great place in a very convenient location right down town. Close to the tram stops and supermarket. Paul and Belinda were wonderful host. The apartment was very well equipped, clean and cosy. Great apartment. Convenient location if you need to be in the financial district. Close to Collins St tram stop. Fabulous views — enjoyed eating in and watching the lights instead of having to trawl the local restaurant scene. Nicely furnished. Belinda and Paul make sure you're looked after. Will be back.

Great location in docklands
The location is fantastic. You are just out of the city which means you're out of the hustle and bustle. Trams and taxi ranks are about 100m away. Can get anywhere you want. Etihad stadium is just over the road. The casino is easily walking distance. There are coffee shops and liquor stores right underneath you. The rooms are very nice and have everything you need. The views are pretty cool too. Foxtel is a bonus!! The room manager Paul was very helpful. Highly recommended.

I visited with my three daughters for a girls shopping trip to Melbourne. The apartment was beautifully decorated with wonderful city views. The owner/manager was friendly and accommodating and the location of the accommodation was situated well for our activities. All in all a fantastic stay!

It is not a hotel/apartment!
It is an apartment with no reception facilities. To obtain key etc, you have to meet up with a representative, this is painful and should be clearly advertised as such. Bed and lounges uncomfortable.

Docklands Executive Apartments is not a hotel. We provide luxury residences for those guests who prefer to stay in a home style environment. Our website and the booking site clearly states that there is no reception and that every guest is personally met on arrival and escorted to their apartment. We also sent you an email detailing our 'Check-in Procedure', noting that there was no reception. We would suggest that next time you book that if the name includes the word apartment that it would be best for you to book a hotel chain.

Great standard of accommodation and location
The apartment was clean and spacious. The kitchen facilities were great. So handy to have a washer and dryer (or airer) on hand as well. They even give you a little "granny trolley" to use if you want to visit the supermarket and easily transport your purchases back to the apartment. The complex is quiet and well-maintained. The pool is beautiful and the spa a bit of fun. The gym is great too! The beds are very comfortable and the shower is fabulous! It is so easy to get places from this apartment. You can take the tram which is about a 2 minute walk away, or cut through Southern Cross Station to get into the city. You can easily walk across the footbridge to the Southbank Promenade area (so many great places to eat - Hooks at the Yarra, Mad Duck and plenty more!) You can easily walk to Crown Casino and all the bistros along there.

It's a comfortable stay and the location is convenient to travel around by trams.

Great place to stay with access to the free trams
This apartment is very well appointed and ideally located for access to Docklands and Eithad Stadium. A great advantage is easy access to the free trams, which gives you access to the CBD

Can't fault it, great value.
Very close to bus and free city shuttle. Excellent modern apartment well fitted out and clean. Fully fitted out kitchen and laundry. Comfortable beds and great view. Will definitely stay again.
