The neighborhood is quiet and well located, within walking distance to the St Kilda beach and town, and to Elwood as well. The apartment itself is very well appointed, quiet and comfortable. We had a great experience at this apartment. It’s very comfortable, cute modern decor, stocked kitchen and great windows & patio. I didn’t read the description carefully enough and assumed there was a washer/dryer, but in fact theres only a washer (and a drying rack). This became a problem because they only gave us one small white towel per person, one floor mat, and one hand towel for each basin. It was rainy and if we’d washed the towels they wouldn’t have dried for days. When we requested more towels, we were told they only provide one per person, but that they could bring 4 more for $150! I would still highly recommend the unit, but noir the owners were more accommodating with the towels. Also a tip: there is no lift in this building.
