The City Edge was ideally located to the hospital, shops, public transport and restaurants. The room was more than adequate for a one night stay. Limited Parking (Safe & Secure) was available under the building at the cost of $15.00 which I thought reasonable as on street parking was limited. The one staff member we encountered was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean but had seen better days. I found the bed comfortable but I would have liked a top sheet as it was quite warm in the room. The room had a Television, micro wave, electric jug, a small refrigerator, a dishwasher, a washing machine but no toaster. The minimum amount of cups, plates and cutlery was also provided. The location to Box Hill train station, Box Hill Hospital and Epworth Eastern is fantastic. Only 5 min walk from each. Front desk was great, helpful and friendly. The room looks bigger in the photos, there was not a lot of space to the room. No Foxtel, although that's not a big deal. The bed was a little hard, but that's just a personal thing. The shower head was loose, so having a shower was a chore. The worst part though was the air conditioner.
