The manager was quite rude. We were staying in Melbourne for a national swim meet and my son has special dietary needs, I struggled to be able to cook him a couple of pieces of toast in the morning. The person on the last day of our stay refused, we felt like an inconvenience even though the place was almost empty. We noticed that the toilet roll holder was not on the wall and was left on the shelf. We reported it but were told it could hot be fixed for another week. We also reported that the door to the bathroom made a screeching notice when we tried to shut it which was a bit disturbing at night as there were two of us sharing. Again, we were told we had to wait for maintenance, however, a guy did come and check it and oiled the hinges to assist. It was more a case of the door was getting caught on the floor (uneven?) when you tried to close the door. Consequently ,we had to leave it as the maintenance guy said he'd have to remove it and shave it down a bit. This never happened. We did have to ask for replacement soap so the room servicing wasn't up to speed, but overall, value for money, it was good.
