The house is in a great location with parking close by. It's walkable to the bakeries, shops and many restaurants. The house is very nice with all the old world charm you would want and expect from a building with such history. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone in our party. No one had to share, and they even had a stair lift so my elderly father did not have to manage the stairs. This made his stay so much easier and was a rare thing to find when I was searching properties. Everything was easy and comfortable, and we loved it all. Innen hat es nicht nachgelassen: man merkt dem Haus sowohl sein stattliches Alter an, als auch, dass es mit viel Sorgfalt renoviert wurde. Auch im Sommer schön kühl, groß genug für große Gruppen (wir waren zu neunt), elegante und schöne Zimmer. Die (neuen) Fenster haben das letzte bisschen Straßenlärm zuverlässig geblockt, und die Dämmung hat auch im Zimmer unter dem Dach für eine angenehme Temperatur gesorgt (Aufenthalt im Frühsommer). Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, um für eine so große Gruppe zu kochen, und im Innenhof hat man eine gute Privatsphäre und kann sich ungestört draußen unterhalten. ##### Lukas S. Es gibt 5 Schlafzimmer und zu jedem Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad. Sogar einen separaten Hausschlüssel je Schlafzimmer. Damit ist man sehr flexibel und wir konnten uns gut im Haus auf die Schlafzimmer aufteilen. Es gibt einen Treppenlift für ältere Leute und für Kinder. Unsere Kinder konnten auf jeden Fall plötzlich keine Treppen mehr hochgehen und mussten den Lift benutzen. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir schon überlegen, wann man wieder hierin kommen könnte. Meisenheim selber und die Umgebung ist auch toll und sehr abwechslungsreich. Wir haben immer etwas gefunden, was sowohl den Kinder, uns als auch Oma und Opa Spaß gemacht hat. Die Beschreibung des Ferienhauses legt es indirekt nahe, ein expliziter Hinweis würde die Überraschung bei der Ankunft jedoch vermeiden: Die Bäder von zwei Zimmern im ersten Stock sind über die Treppe ins Erdgeschoß erreichbar, das Badezimmer eines weiteren Zimmers im ersten Stock befindet sich am anderen Ende des Flurs. Für echte Missstimmung sorgte bei uns der Umstand, daß die Nutzung des "rustikalen Weinkellers mit großem offenem Kamin für stimmungsvolle Stunden und des großzügigen Gewölbekellers mit Wellness-Angeboten" mit den Urlaubern von 3 anderen Appartements abzustimmen ist. Aus der Beschreibung war nicht abzuleiten und uns daher nicht bewußt, daß wir mit dem „Rosenhäuschen Elegance“ die Hälfte eines Hauses mieten. Wir erwarteten ein Ferienhaus mit allen beschriebenen Annehmlichkeiten für uns alleine. Beides, der Weinkeller mit Bar und damit toll für eine Party geeignet, und gleich nebenan der sehr schön gestaltete Saunabereich mit 6 Liegen, einer großen Saunakabine mit perfekt verstecktem Ofen ohne Verbrennungsgefahr, befindet sich im Keller der anderen Haushälfte, die für uns durch eine Türe zu erreichen war. Wichtig ist zu wissen, daß die Nutzung der Sauna kostenpflichtig ist und der Stromfluß wird über einen Automaten gesteuert wird, der mit €2-Münzen pro 15 Minuten zu füttern ist. Am Osterwochenende und in zunehmend bargeldlosen Zeiten hatten wir echte Probleme 10 €2-Stücke für die Sauna mit 2 Durchgängen aufzutreiben. Eine Vorabinformation oder eine Zahlungsoption mit EC-Karte wäre hier angebracht. Abschließend noch der Hinweis, daß der nette Innenhof mit Gasgrill und Holz-Pizza-Ofen gefühlt zur Haushälfte der 3 Appartements gehört. Das liegt daran, daß der Zugang zu den Appartements ausschließlich über den Innenhof möglich ist. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde der Innenhof auch so genutzt, sprich vornehmlich durch unsere Hausnachbarn. Bei sommerlichen Temperaturen und verstärktem Drang, draußen zu sitzen, ist auch hier eine Abstimmung notwendig, Eine gleichzeitige Nutzung aller 21 möglichen Bewohner des Hauses wäre mit 2 Tischen und 12 Stühlen gar nicht möglich. ##### Andreas V. Das Haus bietet viel Platz, ist sehr schön renoviert und bestens ausgestattet. Den schönen Innenhof mit einem luxuriösem Gasgrill konnten wir witterungsbedingt Anfang November leider nicht nutzen. Sowohl das ein- als auch das auschecken waren völlig entspannt und problemlos, das Vermieterpaar sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir, 5 Paare (50 plus), haben den einwöchigem Aufenthalt genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmestens weiterempfehlen. ##### Bernd B. Claudia and Torsten were always available, warm, helpful, and friendly. Elegance is a 5 bedroom, 5 bath house in the old town district of Meisenheim. Patio, BBQ, bike storage, cellar bar and dining room, sauna area, etc. Gave everyone space and something to do. The famous knight's house and protestant church are right outside the front door.
