Interlaken Alternative

I’m glad we found this property as an alternative from Interlaken or Grindewald as this place is one of the train stops going to those places. Place is quiet but close to train station and all walking distance to 2 grocery stores and a few restaurants. Parking is easy and with direct access to the property. With property like this which has a kitchen is a big plus.

Good property but…

Overall this is a good place to stay. Not too far from anything and has the right amount of room for families and required amenities. The check in process is confusing. They are open for check in only in the morning and afternoon at specific hours. If you arrive in between or later - you are on your own. I assume there is a way to let them know about arrivals at different times - but it’s unclear. When it’s not the designated check in time - there is nobody around to help or talk to.

Great facilities, bad customer service

They have a complicated system to communicate with them. When writing through booking.com you are not contacting directly with them but with a central company that manages several hotels. Due to this, they missed my booking of a parking space and they were much more focused on saying that there were no available spots rather than trying to understand that what caused the problem was their own system. They told me to write an email telling the issue and they never came back to me.

Die Wohnung hat uns super gefallen, bis auf das fehlende bzw. nicht ausreichend beleuchtete Schlafzimmer, wenn man sich da vorm Spiegel fertig machen sollte, war es uns viel zu dunkel. Sonst, sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet, gute Lage, bequeme Betten, einfach super. Wir kommen gerne wieder und würde diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen .

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal in diesem Jahr im Swisspeak Meiringen. Gemütlich, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, nettes Personal, unkomplizierte Abwicklung von Buchung und Check-In und die Nähe zum Bahnhof machen diesen Standort für uns zu einem Wohlfühlort. Meiringen selbst bietet zudem eine guten Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Erlebnisse.

Moderne Ferienwohnung in zentraler Lage

Der Ferienpark ist sehr modern und elegant eingerichtet. Wir waren während einer Hitzeperiode dort und die Klimaanlage war sehr angenehm. Die Lage ist sehr zentral am Bahnhof, nachts ist kaum Lärmbelästigung. Die Matratzen sind ganz neu, trotzdem merkt man die Stahlfedern durch. Topper wären angebracht. Auf dem sehr schönen Balkon sind 4 Plastestühle, es fehlen bequeme Sitzmöbel.

We hadden een prachtige week in meiringen in een perfect appartement. Met alles wat je nodig hebt en een geweldig uitzicht vanaf balkon! En het is een mooi punt om je wandelingen te starten, van alles te bekijken. Vriendelijk personeel. Het enige kleine minpuntje was de slaapbank, die lag niet helemaal lekker, onze zoon lag daar diagonaal in en is van gemiddelde lengte. Maar verder was alles heel fijn!!
