"We loved our tent, but it was in need of some repairs. There was wood that needed to be nailed/screwed so it was squeaking in the wind all night. We used a towel to wedge and mostly stop the noise. There was also a broken zipper on the main door but we know how tough that can be to fix and it wasnt an inconvenience. We were most impressed with the showers, WCs and laundry. "This is a really authentic property; I loved the Andalusian decor which made the apartment cool and the surroundings beautiful- as soon as you come into the courtyard there is a lovely smell of incense and a sense of solitude. The cathedral, Alcazar and Toi Pepe are less than 5 minutes walk with easy access to local supermarkets, resturants and shops. I hurt my ankle and my son was unwell on our last day, and they organised a taxi to the airport and messaged to check we were ok. Absolutely...

We’ve marked it down because the outdoor pool & rooftop bar weren’t open during our stay in late March. We felt that this could have been made clear at the point of booking and unfortunately the pool opened on the day we left. When asked prior to arrival if the pool could be opened any earlier, this could not be accommodated. "

"This is a wonderful hotel and every member of staff we encountered were so pleasant, friendly and professional. They are a credit to their employer. We had a two night stay as we wanted to visit Gibraltar and was able to walk in as it literally is 10 minutes walk to the border. Secure parking in their underground parking was a reasonable €12 per day. The bar prices were really cheap for a nightcap and the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in any hotel I have ever stayed anywhere in Europe. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "
