Very quiet area. The grounds outside the front door was over grown. We were supposed to be traveling with a small dog. I’m glad we didn’t because the dog would have been lost in the tall grass.There was a beautiful old tree outside the kitchen window. The sunsets were beautiful after the rains stopped. It was in a good location for peace and quiet, but close enough to places in the Hill Country that we wanted to visit. The property was clean and plenty spacious for the 3 of us. This property is close to FM 337, which makes checking out the surrounding area very convenient. If you bring your pups, and they are not off leash trained, invest in a cable so they can run in the yard without having to worrying about them running into the road. We enjoyed hiking to the creek and the hills with our two fur babies. Inside the cabin was clean and listed pictures were accurate. The cabin had a very comfortable seating area on the front porch. The birds in the area were singing sweetly. We hiked the property. We hiked Lost Maples State Park. We floated the Frio River. We swam in the Frio River at Garner State Park. Check in and out was very easy. Some suggestions are the shower pressure and shower heads are a bit outdated.
