"The owners spared no expense preserving and maintaining the beautiful 1906 Historic Home at Cardinal Pointe Station. This is a large home, exactly as pictured. Perfect for family getaways and events. Outside amenities - Pool and Entertainment Area:Deep private lagoon pool, stairs to enter/exit. Guests that cannot swim, should bring equipment. There is a peaceful trickling brook water feature. Ample patio seating for gathering and lounging. Outdoor gas and charcoal grills, wood burning fireplace and fire pit, lounge seating, picnic tables for entertaining. We enjoyed listening to the water and birdwatching in the evenings -- so many different species coming by to check us out. The outdoor lighting is beautiful at night. We loved meeting all the animal homeowners (the chickens, Daisy, and the sweet kittens made special appearances to welcome us to their home).Indoors: Plenty of dining areas and bathrooms. 5 beautiful custom king/queen bedrooms, with luxury bed linens (we slept so well during our stay!). Soft towels, nice hand soaps, and amazing artifacts. Guests with mobility needs will love the beautiful bedrooms downstairs. Every single room and nook has a story to tell. We loved spending time with the artwork, books, and collections of memories throughout the home. This is a happy home that feels very loved by its owners. We had a much-needed peaceful, recharging staycation, that far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Walter!"

"The property was clean and beautiful. Our family of 15 was very comfortable. Even though we were told the lake was low, we did expect that we would have access to fishing; but, the lake was so low we couldn’t get to it or any of the community access points. We ended up finding a public spot about 15 minutes from this property where we could fish but we paid close to 100 dollars to enter. I would say this property is worth the money but to say it’s lakefront would be a stretch."

"The house was perfect for our family of 11 to all be comfortable and we really enjoyed the yard and utilized the pool and hot tub. The beds were incredibly comfortable, felt like sleeping on clouds. The host responded very quickly and was willing to help in any way. 10/10 for sure!! Will definitely be booking this place again next time we are in town!"
