C47 - 2 Queen Beds, Hot Tub, Pet Friendly

Our most popular cabin style. What guests love about this style is having a spacious 576 SF cabin available with 2 queen beds, a kitchenette , cozy fireplace, hot tub, dog friendly, and a living room sitting area with it’s own flat screen TV.
Terms and conditions: All reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, the remaining balance will be due at time of check-in.

Guarantee policy: All guests must be 24 years or older to reserve a cabin.

Check-in begins at 3:00 pm

Check-out ends at 11:00 am


Parking-Each cabin has 2 parking spaces. All extra vehicles and trailers must be parked in the overflow parking lot.

No Smoking Policy: All suites are Non-smoking. Violation of policy will result in cleaning fees starting at $250. Smoking is permitted outside.

Amenities : All suites have a gas fireplace, cable television, kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, Kuerig
(Kcups are available at the front desk for $1.00 each), toaster, dinnerware, glasses and silverware, hair dryer and iron/ironing board; enough toilet tissue, trash bags, soaps and shampoos for a one night stay.
☑︎ We provide a starter set of towels. There will be at least 1 towel per person. You are welcome to bring additional towels with you. We encourage you to bring beach towels for lake swimming and hot tub usage.(NOT ALL cabins have hot tubs.) Extra towels and linens can be provided by us for an extra fee.
☑︎ We provide a starter of toilet paper, tissues, trash bags, shampoo, and soap. For longer stays you will need to bring your own!

Guests are responsible for washing their own dishes, tying up their trash and sitting it out on their porch.

Fire Pits: When using the fire pits, they must never be left unattended. Should an active fire pit become unattended a fine of $100 will be added to the reservation, and should damage be an outcome of the unattended fire pit or near by furniture or cabins, there will be further charges and possible eviction upon the property managers or the owners discretion. All fire pits are wood burning. Guests should ONLY use dry firewood that they purchase. DO NOT use wood you have gathered from the woods or neighbors. Guests are responsible to start and stay with the fire until the last ember is extinguished. DO NOT douse the firepit with water to put it out. Wood and fire starter kits are available for purchase at our Gatehouse office. All furniture is to be stationary and not moved or relocated. Do not move indoor furniture outdoors. Possible charges will be added and will increase accordingly.

Housekeeping services and Linens : Sheets and towels are provided for the bed occupancy for each cabin. We DO NOT provide daily housekeeping during your stay, however, if you would like to have a light freshen done during your stay, please call the front desk at 301-387-2227. This would consist of fresh towels and taking your trash away (FEES MAY APPLY). If you wish for a full cleaning of your cabin during your stay, this service is available for a $75.00 fee. Please bring beach towels for lake swimming or going to the hot tub (NOT ALL CABINS HAVE HOT TUBS). The Lodges at Sunset Village is not responsible for any personal belongings left behind. There will be a $20.00 fee plus postage for mailing personal belongings back. Extra fees will be charged when dirty dishes and trash are left in the unit by guests. Guests are responsible for washing their own dishes, tying up their trash and sitting it out on their porch.

Inclement Weather : We have our own snow removal protocol at The Lodges at Sunset Village and will take action weather permitting, with excess of more than two inches of snow. We encourage our guests to arrive in an AWD or 4x4 vehicle and have appropriate clothing and non slip footwear during our winter season. We can not control the weather. WE DO NOT give refunds due to bad weather. The Lodges at Sunset Village is not liable for any fender benders or incidents that may occur because of driving.

Occupancy: Responsible party must be 24 years of age to register. IF under the age of 24, but over 21 years of age, a $250 CASH Refundable Deposit is required. If occupants are under the age of 21 the Responsible party must occupy the premises during the entire duration of stay. If the occupants are under 24 and over 21 there is only allowed 2 occupants per cabin. Any party exceeding maximum occupancy inside or outside , day or night will be subject to a $100 per person charge and immediate eviction without refund.

Damages/missing items: Guest will be notified within 24 hours of departure of any damage or missing items in the cabin. Guests` credit cards will be charged to repair damages or replace missing items. For example: (pillows, comforters, irons, ironing boards, or any of the kitchenette items). There is not a set fee for damaged or missing items. This will be determined by management and owner on a case by case basis.

Pets: Dogs are allowed only in our Pet Friendly cabins. A non-refundable pet fee must be paid for each pet - $25.00 (plus tax) per pet, per day. Only dogs are allowed. If a dog is being snuck in without a fee at the time of check-in and without signing a pet form, then fees will be doubled per dog. If a dog is being kept in a non-pet friendly cabin, then fees will be doubled, per dog. We are not liable for any dog that gets loose during guests stay, Cats, birds, rodents, reptiles and other animals are NOT permitted.

After hours arrivals: If you are arriving after hours, all balances must be paid in full.

Cancellations: Reservation must be cancelled 7 days prior of your arrival date, no later than 3:00pm to receive a full refund. If reservation is cancelled within 7 days of arrival, there will be a one night stay penalty or you may apply your deposit to a future stay (one-time) within the next three months of your cancellation date. If reservation is cancelled on day of arrival there will be No refund or opportunity to move the reservation forward.
