"I really appreciated the Van Houtte Coffee Machine in the lobby. It had lots of different options. I also liked the air conditioning unit, the room was very clean. I would stay here again!"
"We stayed in a suite which was roomy and quite adequate. It would have been nicer if it has a few comfy sitting chairs.
My only complaint was getting into the building. I use a walker and the front entrance ( in-fact the only client entrance) had 2 tall steps off a sloping side walk and no handrail. The hotel doors were too narrow for my walker unless I collapsed its size. In side, the lobby, elevator, and rooms were quite accessible.
The free breakfast food was the typical crap all the chains serve to the masses who have no taste.
So as a short stay or stop over, it is a cheap alternative to the other chain hotels in Kirkland Lake."
"Went there off season - Room was clean but the A/C is very noisy when is On but the bed and room was comfortable.
Parking is private and easy to go in and out with your room access card trough the gate.
Staff was very nice & my favourite part is that you can have access to the gym 24/7 next door (same company) just ask to have an access card & it’s well equipped! Dumbbells/rowing/treadmill/cable machine/bicycle/elastics/suissball/olympic bar…Not small gym like other’s hotels.
Breakfast was ok, I’m not fancy I can adapt very easily. I was just expecting hot meals like scrambled eggs or warm pancakes & maybe a croissant or muffins. The basic with different kinds of bread/cereals, fruits, yogurt, coffee/tea, hard boiled eggs, etc..
But probably because it was not the season when I went there :)
Overall I recommend and definitely book again."
"This was the first time we stayed here we go to Kirkland every year for the Races and I must say I was very impressed with first of all the price and it was super clean. The gentleman that checked us in was very polite he walked through the room with us and made sure everything was ok asked if we needed everything extra
Would most definitely stay again"
"Very nice hotel with helpful pleasant staff. Includes parking but it is a bit confusing to get to. We had a pet friendly room that was very nice, but it was on second floor and dogs were not a fan of elevator. It is very small and stops rough."
