"The place was good and the location seems really good if you have time to hike. Unfortunately we were only staying for one night. Clean and cozy. Some additional information ahead of arrival for check in would have been good, especially now knowing that there would be no cell coverage."

"This was our second stay at the Trout Run Cottage, and once again, it was wonderful! It truly is a hidden gem, and Margaret and Jesse are the most welcoming hosts.The cottage is cozy, spotless, and has everything you could possibly need. We loved sitting by the creek with a book, enjoying the fire pit, and relaxing in the jacuzzi on the screened-in porch.It’s such a peaceful and beautiful place to escape the everyday hustle and just relax and recharge. We absolutely love it here and give this cottage a 10 out of 10 and can’t wait to return! "Beautiful house and surrounding grounds. This was our second stay here, and we loved every minute of it. This house has everything - large bedrooms, large well-stocked kitchen, large out door decks. Amenities incluse a hot tub, pool table, darts, and large flat screen TVs. Location is great ... close to many state parks and less than 30 miles to Penn State. Communication with the host is excellent. Overall, our experience was a 10 out of 10!"

Relaxing Getaway-Enjoy a hot tub in the woods

"Love this cabin. Second time staying at it. It is always clean on arrival. The host is responsive to emails and has the property completely ready for your stay. The kitchen is just the right size. If you drink a lot of coffee remember to ring extra sugar and cream. They do supply some but if you are like me and like multiple cups a day thwn it may not be enoug. The hot tub works wonderfully and even has one seat by the steps where you sit sideways and your lower legs get a nice water massage. I would advise bringing your own charcoal chimney starter if you plan on grilling. I also bring extendable marshmallow roasting sticks to keep a safe distance away from the fire. Plenty to do located nearby including Oldmill Coffee House and Cruisers café. If you are more into wine, Shade Mountain Vineyard has both wine and mimosa tasting at a very reasonable price. I hope that this review helps those of you out there who want to have a quiet relaxing trip."
