Cozy and private mountain retreat at the top of Laurel Mountain

"I had an awesome experience booking with Jason and Michelle this weekend! A large storm hit the area prior to check in and the rental lost power. Not only were they extremely communicative the whole time, they worked with me to adjust the timeline of my stay to account for the delay in check-in and ensured I received a prompt refund from VRBO for the lost night. Throughout all of our interactions, they were kind, professional, prompt, and extremely flexible. The cabin itself is gorgeous, clean, well-maintained, and cozy. I booked it as a solo retreat, but it could comfortably accommodate a family or group. I especially enjoyed sitting on the deck in the back; it’s just secluded enough that you can feel at peace, but close to the hiking trails and Route 30 should you want to explore the area further. I highly recommend booking this rental for your next trip to the Laurel Highlands!"

"We reserved two rooms next to each other and were so pleased they accommodated our request. Two slight cleaning issues were quickly handled after checkin. Rooms were very nice and beds comfortable. Additional towels and toilet paper readily supplied when requested. Breakfast had excellent selection and especially nice eating area. We enjoyed the pool, fitness area and outside patio with water feature. Very nice facility and great location!"

"The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was great. The shower pressure was great and hot water. The pool was pretty good although the poolside tables and chairs needed some updates and repair. Our fridge in 105 wouldn't stay upright so my husband propped it with a plastic cup. Parking was close and easy. We will stay there again."

"Staff very accommodating to visitors. This was especially evident as terrible storm came through so power outage from 9 pm to well past 9 am the next morning. Not sure when power restored as left to go home. The entire town and neighboring towns had power outage. The front desk did an amazing job in checking in travelers getting out of storm!!"

"The house was beautiful from the Chef’s kitchen to all the rooms/decor! The outside area is beautifully appointed and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The town of Ligonier and this house are out of storybook. We enjoyed our stay for our family get together. We would most definitely stay again!"

"I needed a one night passing through stay on a budget and Red Roof @ Johnstown was affordable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room and hotel were clean. Unfortunately I cannot give the 5 stars, because I got a VERY NOISY fridge in the room. It’s not a major thing but it’s annoying when you are a light sleeper."

"My experience on a two-night stay at this location was exceptional. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and cool with AC. No lingering odors. The king-sized bed was truly comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally clean with no odor and well-stocked with shower amenities, etc., and more. I highly recommend this place to anyone, giving it 4+ stars."
