You'll get to watch the sunrise from the top of the tallest Myan pyramid yet discovered. You get to watch as the jungle just comes alive. The birds wake up, and then the monkeys, and then the other animals of the rainforest. it was a beautiful experience. Not to be missed. Get there early, it's worth booking the 4;30am shuttle bus from Flores to get to Tikal for sunrise. Do not get involved in a tour! Get the shuttle and then go off on your own into the jungle! You will have the place more or less to yourself, and will come across wildlife too! We saw coati's, spider monkeys, toucans and other colourful birds and the sound of a jaguar! Don't miss it! Tip for accommodation in Flores, Villa De Lago.
