"The bach house is a peaceful and relaxing place for a vacation. Your mind blocks out everything, like work, daily routine. For site seeing you just walk outside and enjoy the surroundings day and night. On a full moon and sunset that is a blessing."

"The home was excellent for what we wanted. Very comfortable, not everything brand new....thankfully! I feel a bit anxious if it like a show home, I like to feel I can relax. Great dinning table for board games, kitchen had everything we needed. Beds very comfortable. The home baked biscuits delicious...maybe too delicious, as we ate quite a lot of them. View to the beach was great, lovely to hear the surf, and only a few metres walk and you are on the sand. Easy walking on the beach, my little dog love running along it. Would definitely be happy to book again."

"Bruce is a great host, warm, friendly and helpful. The unit is spacious, clean, well equipped for cooking, furniture and linen are good quality. There is a sea view, and it is well located close to the Hokianga entrance, with good walks nearby. Also very close to the excellent local fish and chip/ takeaway."

"Tried the whole week previous to our stay to extend our booking one night with no response from the host therefore no support with anything else. Have stayed at the property prior and really enjoyed it. However walked in this time and smelt like old ???. We needed to air out house and dirty dishes still in the dishwasher. I don't want to dampen anyones' experience because this is a lovely bach and located across the road from beach so accessible. Just communication was shocking! Has gone up signficantly in price but I suppose that's what you pay to be in paradise."
