All high end furniture and upgraded everything . Full size top of the line appliances complement the gourmet kitchen. There are no buildings between your lanai and the beautiful ocean. Turkeys and peacocks frequent the lawns for your enjoyment. You'll love the feeling of the designer kitchen and dining in or on lanai as it's 30 minutes to very few restaurants. All matching dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans. There is an upgraded bathroom with brand new tile shower as well as full size washer and dryer. Our condo is specifically designed for 2 but can accommodate 4 by using designer hide a bed. Spectacular view from raised king bed in spacious separate bedroom. The resort itself is well maintained, well manicured and quiet. This is by far the most perfectly placed resort on the island (and all of Hawaii in our opinion). Sparkling clear pool overlooks the beach. In 2008, the hotel rooms on other end of resort were shutdown. This means less people at the pool, less people at the beach, more peace, more relaxation. Our condo looks straight out and down the beach. It is close to the pool but not so close that you hear people at pool. At night, you can see the glow of Waikiki only 38 miles away across the majestic ocean. We are a short walk away to many lonely beaches including two of the longest white sand beach in Hawaii. We have an ice chest and beach chairs and towels available for your use. The beach in front and a little to the right of the Condo Complex is an excellent surfing and boogie boarding area. The beach directly in front of condo is where seasonally huge waves crash and spray. A short walk north is what we call 1st, 2nd, and 3rd beach. Our favorite is second beach. 4th beach is a bit further, super sandy and mostly private. To the south is the 3 mile sandy beach followed by what we call 1st, 2nd, and 3rd coves. All beautiful. All peaceful. Rental cars are available through Alamo Rental Car, Molokai Car Rental, Molokai Cars by Mike, or through Turo app. We rent car for $64 per day through Turo App. It will be waiting for you at the airport. Search MKK and look for silver Nisan Versa Note "James" $64 per day. We have tried very hard to make sure our guests have everything they need for a wonderful Hawaiian getaway. This wonderful little condo, sweet bungalow is remote and quiet, on the beach and very comfortables. Some of the buildings around are run down but the pool and grounds are lovely. This is truly one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever stepped foot on and I could stay for weeks. If you want to listen to the waves, the birds and wind then this is your place. Not many other folks around, but those we met were kind and loving this bit of paradise just like us. Some prepping for food and drinks is necessary but easy drive to town for market and limited restaurants\~ just adds to the small island ambience. We will be back! ##### Heather B. Beach just outside the door for a morning walk, well-appointed kitchen for meal prep, and the sound of ocean waves all night long. When we felt like getting out, we rented bikes from Phillip (mauimolokaibicycle dot com) and did a challenging ride to Waikolu Valley Lookout from the Homelani Cemetary. Would also recommend the Halawa Valley Falls hike with Gregory (halawavalleymolokai dot com) and snorkeling/SCUBA with Captain Tim at Molokai Fish & Dive (molokaifishanddive dot net). The beer at Paddler's (Wednesday-Saturday) was cold and refreshing and they have a decent cocktail menu. The island isn't as touristy as it apparently used to be, but it was fun to explore and we felt we really knew the island in two weeks. Diane was wonderful and has a number of other things to check out on the bulletin board in the property. Be sure to get fresh produce from Kumu farms and fresh grass-fed beef from the mobile market (sustainablemolokai dot org/food-sovereignty/mobile-market). ##### Evan A. We were pleasantly surprised to find almost everything we needed in the unit. Things are well thought out so we only needed to visit the store for food and other small items. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a small blessing that made our luggage just a bit lighter and at the end of the day popping things in to the washer for the next day was perfect! The Lanai has such a beautiful view of the incredible beach at Kepuhi where we watched the sunset every evening and it was always interesting to see what wildlife was walking by each morning. We would highly recommend this place and plan on coming back to be part of Moloka'i next year and experience more of this special place, people and Aloha! ##### Dave E. Do be aware the waves crashing on the beach can be quite loud depending on surf conditions. It is a perfect place if you are pretty self sufficient and your idea of "night life" is star gazing in a tropical paradise. Miles of quiet beach walking and some good trails allow you to cover as many miles as you like- watch out for thorns, they are the real deal and can penetrate a pair of sneakers! The condo cools off well at night with the breeze and you will be serenaded awake by bird songs and not Roosters crowing like most of the other islands. We did have a short power outage and a plumbing issue that Diane (owner) got taken care of quickly. The 4 star rating for property cleanliness is only due to several of the old Sheraton buildings are fenced off and falling slowly apart, not everyone will like the appearance, but I think it adds to the history and mystique of what was once a booming facility. If you are reading this, it means you either own the property or are considering renting this unit. First of all, Diane and John (D&J) are phenomenal owners! They answered the very few questions we had while renting within moments of texting and answered when we called. 1\. You will be steps from the beach. 2\. The pool (best in the Pacific!) is even closer. 3.The unit is as described and looks just like the pictures. This being our 3rd trip to Kephui Beach, I can tell you the pictures are not always what you get when you open the door but D&J's unit is spot on to the photos on VRBO! 4\. The ocean is so close, you can hear (and feel) the waves crashing on the shore. 5\. This resort isn't new, with that being said, yes there are some "dilapidated" buildings on property. The rental unit buildings are very well tended to. 6\. The property is landscaped and well handled by the very friendly staff you encounter. 7\. Monk seals! You can see them regularly as they rest on the beaches but you must not disturb them! The locals do not take kindly to such stupidity! 8\. Beaches. Man are there beaches, miles in fact and all within a very short walk. The furthest might be a ten minute walk! 9\. The bed is COMFY and the amenities inside the unit are great! 10\. Walk off lanai. We can watch and listen to the ocean from the lanai, and from inside too. The beach is right out front, and the gorgeous pool is a few steps away. The resort has a small store open everyday. She was very responsive and made check-in a breeze. Everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the condo, and has everything you need for your stay. The views are gorgeous and the breeze keeps you cool all day. The place has everything for relaxing and recharging, including the boogie boards, surf board and other equipment. Diane even offered us to use two very nice bikes. The ground floor has a great advantage for using the sports equipment. Our son rented a studio in the same building two doors left, he would just walk across the grass lawn to visit us for dinners. The owner did a first-class renovation years ago, and has maintained it well. It has a complete kitchen, all the appliances, and fast cable internet. I have visited this side of the island before, and already knew there are no sizeable grocery stores or restaurants. other than a very small on-site convenience store. I always just filled a suitcase with my favorite Trader Joe's steaks (I freeze them) and food. It really is a place to get away, with beautiful white sand beaches, and very few people. We were not disappointed! We don't like tourist traps and crowds, and on Molokai you will be about as far as either than you can get. The property is remote but super comfortable, remodeled and up to date. The bedroom and lanai have a perfect sunset view. You can sit on the lanai and watch the gorgeous sunsets with Oahu, Kauai and Niihau on the horizon. There are beaches to walk to, a pool to lay by, and an ocean to enjoy within feet of the property. Molokai takes dome planning to enjoy because it is so rural, but when the pantry is stocked and there is food in the fridge you can relax and enjoy your time. The kitchen is complete and well stocked, the counters and appliances up to date, the wi-fi let's you be connected if you want, and the natural ventilation keeps the breeze moving through the condo. We had a great time and we recommend it highly for the couple that wants to get away from the bustle of life on the mainland and wind down in true Hawaiian style. ##### Steve S. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. It was all that we expected. The beaches were beautiful and often we were the only ones there. We had nice soaks at the pool to cool off and enjoyed watching the big waves courtesy of tropical storm Darby! The condo was well appointed and comfortable with a great view.
