On the outskirts, in a quiet, elevated position, 100 m from the edge of the forest. Grocery 800 m, supermarket 15.3 km, restaurant 120 m, café 450 m, bus stop "Masserberg, Rathhaus" 550 m. Walking paths from the house 50 m, ski lift 1.5 km, slopes 1.5 km. Nearby attractions: Rennsteigwarte Masserberg 1.6 km, Burgruine Schaumburg 27 km, Thüringer Wald 1 km, Gewürzmuseum Schönbrunn 8.3 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Erste Berg Masserberg 1.5 km, Siegmundsburg 22 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Talsperre Schönbrunn 12.2 km, Talsperre Ratscher 18 km, Vorsperre Schleusegrund 15.7 km.
