The (included) breakfasts and dinners were amazing, gourmet and generous. The hot spring pools were so relaxing and renewing. Our bedrooms were quite large and comfortable. The baths and hot tub were great. Breakfast was a set menu and traditional Japanese fare — while it was an interesting experience, it was also very non-traditional for us. Best to have a vehicle when visiting here as town and restaurants are a 2 km walk or a $12-18 taxi ride. The staff were great and we communicated through a translation app, as most spoke no English and our Japanese is no better.
