It had everything we needed for the perfect weekend getaway. The cottage was very clean, and really neat decorations throughout. "We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay while on the island. I’m a frequent visitor to Whidbey, but usually stay with family. I wanted something close to them and this listing fit the bill. I’ve never stayed in such a well-appointed place. The house is modern, clean, and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. They thought of everything. The owner was responsive to one small issue about the Wi-Fi, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Green Door house."

We had a lovely stay- from when you walk in the door you're on vacation. Beach-theme decor is coordinated throughout the house. "Our family with two girls ages 11 and 8 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beach house. It was the perfect family getaway! The house is exactly as pictured and was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the provided beach towels and Sonos speakers were a huge bonus. Riding bikes around the safe neighborhood was a lot of fun. The beach in the backyard felt very private at this time of year. We will definitely be back for another stay!"

"We stayed over a long weekend. Absolutely loved the location and the cottage. It was wonderful to bring our dog with us on a vacation for the first time - he loved it, too! We heard owls and coyotes; saw blue herons, bunnies, and small birds; and enjoyed sitting on the patio in the shadow of the hemlock, cedar, maple, madrone, and Douglas-fir trees. (The view from the bathroom at sunset is incredible, too!) The cottage was thoughtfully appointed for guests and we appreciated the extra touches...
