Confirmation and payment system were conflicting. Kitchen was poorly equipped - no teapot, only large cups, lacking enough cooking pots, no kitchen scales, too few small plates. Recycling options not clear - and no composting system Good bathroom, well equipped. Sustainable coffee options would have been welcomed. Shared bedroom lacked one lamp, but generally well set up. We used this whare as a research retreat to do some writing and some deep thinking. The accommodations were lovely, clean, and tidy. An extra nice touch was a load of wood being dropped off at the whare if we needed it, and a 10% discount at the cafe, literally at the end of the driveway, was very convenient and a lovely touch of hospitality.
