Masseria San Michele has to be one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. From all the little design touches to the gorgeous breakfast spread, the sweetest dogs and little cat, and the pool area - everything was perfect! I especially loved the bathrooms which were gorgeously decorated, filled with local organic products and a great shower. The bed was super comfortable too - and each of the rooms have their own little patio area with a comfy area and a table. The staff were lovely and made my visit extra special, arranging a massage for the day of my arrival, a horse ride in the countryside nearby, wine tasting and transfers to and from Martina Franca! The only one thing that could make it better for me is the option to have dinner in. I would recommend staying here to anyone!

Beautiful masseria in exceptional location

This small masseria served us as a good base to explore this area of Puglia: Alberobello, Locorotondo, Martina Franca , Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Savelletri,Ostuni. There are very few rooms so the environment is quiet- but not boring, with nice music always playing in the dining area. The pool area is great, the garden impeccably tended to; the furnishings are rustic chic and tasteful. Lorenzo the owner is an amazing host- we'll always remember the delicious dinner with the freshest ingredients that he prepared for us the first night as we arrived a bit late, and all his interesting stories. Francesca is a very professional manager, a pleasure to communicate with. Take advantage of the bikes at your disposition; it's the best way to go around the whole area and to follow the Apulian aqueduct (cycle route) among olive groves and trulli. We would come back in a heartbeat!

La struttura mi ha colpita positivamente. Stanza molto ampia e assolutamente pulita, molto curata nel complesso. Migliorerei solo 2 aspetti: 1. le tende dovrebbero essere davvero oscuranti, ora invece non lo sono e quindi ci si sveglia con le prime luci dell'alba; 2. dovrebbe essere specificato che gli animali possono essere lasciati liberi in struttura. Non avrei nulla in contrario leggendolo, ma non la sceglierei per un viaggio date le mie caratteristiche personali: benché il proprietario di un cane dica "ma non fa nulla" io non voglio che mi tocchi gli asciugamani, che mi corra incontro o che lecchi i giochi di mio figlio. Per cui gli ospiti devono essere informati prima in modo da poter scegliere. Nonostante all'arrivo io abbia esplicitato di aver paura dei cani e mi sia stato detto "nessun problema, li chiudiamo", mi è comunque capitato che mi sia corso incontro un cane di un visitatore, che si sia strusciato sul mio asciugamano in piscina, che abbia spaventato il bambino e appunto sporcato i suoi giochi e che io sia pure stata invitata a stare calma perché "non fa niente", ma vorrei decidere io l'effetto che un animale mi fa, se possibile... stessa cosa mi è capitato con uno dei cani della proprietà. Al netto di questa considerazioni personali, la struttura è molto buona

Tolle Unterkunft, super Service, super Gastgeber!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Masseria San Michele und können die Location nur jedem empfehlen. Das Objekt ist neu saniert und ein toller Altbau, der durch seine dicken Wände die Kühle gut hält und eine Klimaanlage nicht einmal erforderlich wäre. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die große Gastfreundschaft des Personals und des Eigentümers Lorenzo. Herzlichen Dank noch einmal für eine tolle Zeit dort.
