My wife found the Sirayane and after my stay, I believe she made an optimal decision. The hotel is well staffed by highly professional and capable staff members, is efficient in its operations, and offered us help when Air France misplaced our luggage for several days. The food each morning (we had brunch service) was delicious and memorable. Moreover, the property itself blends traditional Berber architecture with modern design elements from some wonderful architects. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel provided all the amenities that we expected / desired. The one challenge is the lack of proximity to the core Marrakech city center - the hotel provides convenient shuttles or can coordinate a private taxi (as we did a few times) so it does mitigate some of the challenge. That said, the property itself deserves some "soaking in" and I wish we had spent more time simply relaxing on the property. One final point is that the owner and founder, Mahdi, is a very friendly individual, personally introduced himself, and ensured that our stay was memorable. That is the type of service and character that I appreciate in a hotel and thus, I look forward to my next stay when visiting Marrakech.
