Very nice stay
Recommended! The riad is beautiful and comfortable (conveniently located, spacious, clean, well-furnished*), but it is Rashida who made this a true five-star experience for us. Her good advice, wonderful cooking, and most especially her warmth and generosity will stay with us. We felt so welcomed! (* Two tiny suggestions: replace the bathroom towels with new ones and change out some of the indoor lightbulbs for a warmer light.)

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful Riad.
Before we arrived, we felt well taken care of. The host Pierre responded promptly and effectively to all our questions, and he also assisted us with the transport and the bookings of the dinners at the riad. The best part was the staff, Rashida who works there, she is so kind and caring. From the beginning to the end, Rachida took good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. The Riad is really beautiful and clean, it is exactly as you see it in the photo, curated, traditional style, comfortable and ideal for a group of friends.. Our rooms were nice and cozy all with en suite . The breakfast and dinner made by Rashida were delicious, We loved sitting on the terrace and relaxing with a drink . Rashida , who works there is amazing. Thanks to Pierre for making such a wonderful place in a great location. The location was great…a short walk away from the more hectic part of the medina but still closed to everything. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

First rate for friends
The Riad was lovely and great to have exclusive use. It was well positioned for a stroll into the medina, clean and well stocked with utensils. Rachida is a star who made us feel immediately welcome and always helpful with advice for trips out and local information, she looked after us so well & also cooked us some of the best Morrocon food we tasted our entire trip. Great place, highly recommend!

There are many riad in Marrakesh, but only one with Rashida who is jewel of this place. We were there during the hearthquake and we received support and unconditional care. An excellent stay
We enjoyed four nights in this lovely Riad, a short and fascinating walk from the centre of Marrakech. The Riad is beautiful, huge and a great place to relax after the heat, dust and noise of the souks. Rachida was a lovely, kind and genuine housekeeper who went above and beyond to help us have a great stay. She guided us on her arm to Djemaa El Fna on the first evening which was really helpful as it gave us confidence for our subsequent independent trips each day. Rachida also made us delicious breakfasts every morning and we enjoyed our morning chats with her - she is a real blessing!

Amazing Riad Experience
Our group of 5 had an amazing stay at this property. It was easy to find when putting in the Riad Name (Riad Agdid), and we had no issues with taxi or tour pickup. Keep in mind, the Riad is a part of history and located walking distance from the Medina and it’s essentially an open courtyard with rooms off to the side so it’s as clean as the environment allows. Only issues was spotty wifi. That being said, what made our experience extra special was Rachida. She was there to welcome us and showed up every morning to serve a light breakfast or whatever we asked. Our group is the planning type but Rachida always offered to set things up for us or call us a taxi or make dinner reservations. All this despite the language barrier, none of us spoke French but she was determined to communicate with us via google translate and even walked with us hand in hand to the Medina and told us all the things to watch out for and made us feel safe and comfortable. She told us to think of her as our mom while we were in Morocco and we felt like she was part of our family. If you’re unsure about plans or visiting Marrakesh, I cannot recommend staying with Rachida enough, you will be taken care of, that is for sure.

Great Riad a short walk from the souks
Great Riad - in a busy area but once the door is closed it’s very peaceful. Lots of space and I imagine the central courtyard in the hotter months will be well used - we used the roof terrace every day. Great comma with Pierre and Rachida the housekeeper is a star.

Genuine Marrakech Experience
This property definitely gives one a genuine Marrakech experience, rather than a tourist-packaged experience, but with Rachida providing the care and attention that one could expect from most tourist packages. Staying at the riad allowed us plenty of space to socialise, be noisy at times, and relax as though we were in our own home, which was a nice change from staying in a hotel or other more formal/structured accommodation. Its location is in a very busy area, and sometimes noisy, but the call to prayer - very loud at the riad - was welcome and we all found it beautiful. There was plenty of space to spread out, with outdoor and indoor places to gather as a family, and comfortable lounge areas on the terrace/roof to enjoy the heat and sun. The bedrooms were well appointed and spacious. Rachida was very accommodating at all times, and was a huge help providing assistance in arranging tours, finding shops, and providing delicious (enormous!) breakfasts each day, and sometimes dinner as well. Our French is pretty spotty, but with the assistance of Google translate on everyone's phones we were able to communicate well with Rachida. She is a joy, and we could not have had such a wonderful stay without her!

We loved it!
We arrived at the Riad late evening and wondered if we had made a mistake, but as soon as we walked through the door we were completely taken aback. It’s just beautiful and feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle outside. The inner courtyard is cool, relaxing and such a lovely communal outside space, as is the rooftop terrace area with the plunge pool. We visited early November and the temperature was perfect to enjoy all our meals outside. The Riad is ideally situated and is a short walk from Jemaa el Fna and the Souks. The walk takes you through a busy area of small businesses which gives you a feel of Moroccan day to day life. The real attraction and benefit of the Riad is Rachida who, from the minute we walked through the door, could not have done more to make our stay any better. She cooked beautiful breakfasts for us every morning, arranged taxis, booked restaurants for us and generally helped to make our stay very special every step of the way. Thank you Rachida, you are a superstar. Thanks also to Pierre for your quick response to all our queries. We would not have any hesitation in recommending Riad Agdid to any of our friends.

Riad Agdid is stunning!
Beginning with the gorgeous front door of Riad Agdid, I was blown away by how beautiful this home is. The house is a tranquil respite after touring Marrakesh. We rented a car and parked in front of the garage of the Riad and that worked well, we felt very safe here. Directly outside of the house there is a tiny store to get water, etc if you need it. But what really makes the stay so memorable is Rachida, the house manager. Her breakfasts are delicious and we had her made dinner for us twice, she is an exceptional cook!! She is also very kind and will truly make your time in Marrakech all the more special, she can recommend restaurants, shops and places to visit. We miss Riad Agdid and Rachida and truly intended on staying there again!

Fantastic experience
We had an absolutely outstanding vacation at this beautiful Riad. Extremely spacious charming property, excellent amenities and great hosts this was an experience we cannot recommend highly enough. We really enjoyed the Riad and everything it has to offer as well as the great location just a short walk to the souks and other places of interest but the real star was Rachida who took care of us from beginning to end ensuring we had the best possible experience in every way. A cool oasis in the mdina
We arrived to a warm welcome from Pierre and his wife as well as Rashida. Raschida is a real gem who looked after us all during our stay. We enjoyed a great breakfast cooked by her each morning and after a long day travelling it was great to have a meal ready the evening we arrived.she also was a mine of local information and advice and although her English was limited as was my French we still managed some great conversation. The Riad is full of character and charm and has lots of places to sit and relax in sun or shade depending on your choice. Whist some of our party found the beds a bit firm it was a very comfortable place to stay. A short walk from the main square with a shop for essentials on the door step this place has everything you need

What a fabulous week - Real authentic experience!
What a place to stay! We had such a fantastic time staying at the Riad, it is a truly beautiful space with plenty of room for a group of friends or a family. The Riad is well located just a short walk through the market to the central square. Pierre was very accommodating and made our arrival in Morocco very straightforward. The star of the trip was Rachida; what a lovely, funny, sweet soul! She took us in for the week and made sure we wanted for nothing. We can’t thank her enough for making an incredible week that little bit more special. I would recommend staying here to anyone, hopefully we’ll be back one day!

The riad and the service was fantastic.
Myself and three friends enjoyed a 5 day stay at the riad. The place is very spacious and very clean, easily located within walking distance of all of the Médina. Rachida, the house keeper is extremely hospitable and really made the overall trip just that much better. One thing to not is that the Wi-Fi only works in a small part of the riad.

Words are not enough....beautiful riad
As beautiful as the riad was, it was Rachida who made our stay one of the best holidays we have had. Her thoughtful attention and hospitality was overwhelming and she really felt like family. We miss her already. The accommodation was ample ( we were a party of 9). The facilities were comfortable. The kids loved cooling off in the pool. The whole property was stunning and well maintained. The location was ideal for our family but not as close to the main attractions as it appears on the map. However the number 6 bus will take you from bab ghmat to Jemaa el Fna for 4 dirham. The tok toks are also an experience unto themselves! The convenience shop lives up to it's name not least by being about 10 feet from the front door and was a life saver many times as it's open until late. The owner closes for short periods in the day for prayer. The tour company associated with the riad Azerg tours is a little pricey if you want to visit attractions outside Marrakech. You will need to negotiate, however the trips are worth it. Ourika valley is suitable for families with teenagers who enjoy the challenge of climbing to see the waterfalls. Essouira is a beautiful beach where the camel rides on the sand were enjoyed by all . It's much cooler than Marrakech so remember to take a wrap/ hoodie/ cardie. It's also really windy. The Ouzoud water falls are also worth the 2 and half hour trip especially boat ride at the bottom.

House was nice and authentic!
The location is horrible. You had to walk through mud and animal droppings everyday to get anywhere.... Definitely not an area to take children. The staff was friendly, but the breakfast was the same exact thing every day. It was hard to communicate we wanted to eat earlier than 1000, with two small children. The one meal we had her cook was good, but the overall price of 30 euros a day seems reasonable to have someone cook lunch and dinner, but when the house staff gave us the grocery bill we were shocked. We had one meal of rice and chicken with bread and she charged us 25 euro extra for it. When you walk through town you can buy a whole chicken for $5 and bread is 30 cents. I can't imagine rice is much more.... would not stay again:(

Nous retiendrons en premier lieu que le Riad est agréable et authentique. C’est très bien. Mde D. trouve la « location is horrible » bien comprendre l’emplacement est horrible !!!!!! Nous sommes situés dans la Médina dans un quartier avec des rues larges, et propres. Nous avons le personnel de la voirie toute la journée dans le quartier. Durant le séjour de Mde D. nous avons eu des grosses pluies sur Marrakech, ce qui explique en partie son avis sur la boue, pas sur le reste. Pour le petit déjeuner il est servi au bon vouloir des hôtes à partir de 08h30, heure d’arrivée de la cuisinière, et surement pas à 10h00 !! Il est identique tous les jours, le thé, le café, le lait, le pain, les confitures, le beurre, la viennoiserie, jus d’orange, il change avec les crêpes, tous les jours différentes : crêpes française, crêpes mille trous, crêpes marocaines etc.. Pour les repas, Mde D. à compris que pour 30 euros, vous pouviez déjeuner et dîner au Riad soit pour 4 adultes et 2 enfants, comptons pour 5 personnes, 3 euros par personne, par repas, tout compris !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Servi, dans un cadre comme la salle à manger du Riad, la télévision, la clim, la cheminée, belle table, serviettes en tissus brodé, belle nappe, bref je pense un cran au-dessus des restaurants sympathiques de la place, ou il faut tout de même payer un peu plus que 3 euros pour dîner. Le Maroc n’est pas un pays sous-développé. Le seul dîner servi le soir de l’arrivée n’était pas « du riz, du poulet, et du pain » mais un dîner complet avec en entrée quatre salades marocaines, un excellent tagine poulet citron, avec pomme de terre, tomates, olives, et en dessert orange à la cannelle, plus 4 bouteilles eau minérale, le thé, et les pâtisseries marocaines. Le tout pour un prix de revient de 250 dhs (achat prix coutant) plus le forfait des 300 dhs (un peu moins des 30 euros) soit un total de 550 dhs. La tagine était préparée en fait pour 8 personnes, donc 8 cuisses complètes, ce qui le lendemain à servi au déjeuner de toute la famille. Pas vraiment très cher !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oui, ils pouvaient acheter eux même un poulet pour 5 $ avec un bout de pain, la cuisine du Riad est à l’entière disposition des hôtes, mais quel dommage de se priver des services d’une cuisinière pour le prix que ça coute. On se demande parfois si certaines personnes ne devraient pas tout simplement rester chez elles. Et bien sur, pas un geste au départ pour le personnel.

UN riad magnifique !
La surprise fut grande à notre arrivée de l'aéroport : le riad est encore plus beau et grand que sur les photos ! Aucune mauvaise surprise de tout le séjour ! Rachida et Fatima qui travaillent au riad sont adorables ; Rachida est une excellente cuisinière et fait tout pour vous rendre le séjour des plus agréables ! Il est préférable d'avoir un très bon coup de fourchette ! Un séjour de rêve ! Je recommanderais à tous ce riad !

Merveilleux séjour
Séjour rendu inoubliable grâce à Rachida qui a été aux petits soins avec nous. Riad très propre, bien situé pour faire beaucoup de choses à pied. Nous recommandons ce riad pour passer du temps en famille et/ou avec des amis. J’ai invité mes deux enfants et petits-enfants du 28/12 au 04/01. Nous avons eu l’agréable surprise d’être accueillis par Rachida qui s’est mise en 4 pour nous satisfaire . Rachida est l’âme de ce lieu. Merci à Rachida qui nous a régalée lors des 3 dîners pris au Riad. Rachida a un haut sens du service, nous a conseillé, et organisé notre séjour avec beaucoup de réactivité . Rachida merci beaucoup. Nous aurions apprécié des systèmes de chauffage opérants, les nuits étant fraîches. Toute ma famille est ravie de son séjour et j’en suis content .

Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable, trop courte nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps dans ce beau pays avec cette acceuil magnifique Le Ryad de M Pierre quant à lui est tout simplement magnifique il ne manque de rien je vous le recommande N’hésitez PAS Mais ce N’EST rien à côté de Rachida qui sera votre pilier durant le séjour elle s’est occupé de nous toute la semaine c’est une personne très touchante et attachante. Si vous voulez elle peu rester discrète tout comme dans un hôtel Mais Le Ryad sans Rachida n’aurai pas eu la même saveur. Elle nous conseillé sur beaucoup de destinations de boutiques etc.. Ses petit déjeuné sont magnifiques Nous y reviendrons c’est certains Je pourrai continuer comme ça pendant longtemps à dire que de belles choses !!! Riad idéalement situé
Très beau riad, conforme aux photos, bel emplacement, impeccable au niveau de la propreté, la piscine permet de se rafraîchir et la climatisation des chambres est très appréciée. Rachida est la Perle de ce riad , elle est très attentionnée, à notre écoute, prête à donner des conseils de visite et même à venir avec nous pour mieux négocier dans les souks. Sans sa présence, le riad n’aurait pas le même charme

Difficile de faire son choix parmi les nombreux Riad de Marrakech, nous sommes tombés sur la perle la prestation répond à nos attentes et le Riad est exceptionnel Propre bien situé près des souks de la place des ferblantiers et de la place jemaa el fna Et que dire de Rachida qui a été de part les commentaires précédents l’élément déclencheur dans notre location Elle est exceptionnelle de gentillesse d’efficacité et de partage Élie fait clairement à elle seule la différence.nous sommes ravis de lui avoir fait confiance pendant ce séjour 5 jours de bonheur grâce à Rachida Nous ne la remercierons jamais assez Stéphane

Riad exceptionnel
Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable entre amis dans ce beau Riad très bien situé dans la médina, tout peut se faire à pied . Le Riad est grand , propre et très bien tenue par Rachida . Grâce à Rachida nous avons pu découvrir des endroits authentiques, sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité a rendu notre séjour très agréable. Merci à Rachida et nous reviendrons sans hésitation très bientôt on l’espère Stéphanie

Traumhaft schönes Riad
Das Riad ist riesengroß und wunderschön eingerichtet. Wenn man den kühlen, ruhigen Innenhof nach einem turbulenten Tag in Marrakesch betritt ist man in einer anderen Welt, kann sich prima entspannen und erholen. Wir haben zwischendurch auch einen 3/4 Tag von den 4 Tagen, die wir dort waren, einfach nur im Riad verbracht, um die schöne Atmosphäre zu genießen. Rachida, die uns in Empfang genommen und versorgt hat war reizend und stand uns jederzeit und absolut verlässlich mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, wenn wir Hilfe brauchten, der Abschied von ihr ist uns allen richtig schwer gefallen, da sie uns so ans Herz gewachsen ist. Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit in dem Riad verbracht, alle ware begeistert!

Parfait
Un séjour inoubliable grâce à Rachida Des notre arrivée, nous avons été surpris de découvrir ce beau riad mais SURTOUT, de faire la connaissance de cette dame MAGNIFIQUE, Rachida. Elle a su écouter nos besoins tout au long de nos vacances et toujours avec gentillesse et sagesse. Nous avons rarement rencontré une aussi belle personne que elle et nous vous recommandons fortement de réserver ce riad. Vous ne serez pas déçus ! A deux pas du souk et de la célèbre place jama elfna, vous serez rapidement imbibés par la culture marocaine.

Magnifique Ryad au coeur de la Medina. Un sejour inoubliable grâce à la gentillesse de Rachida. Seul bemol: la prière tous les jours à 5h45 via un haut parleur dans la medina.Mais cela est vite oublié car Marrakech et Rachida valent le detour...

Fantastic riad
This is a fantastic riad located in the old part of Marrakesh. You get a first hand impression of ancient marrocain architecture and decorations - and you immediately feel at home. On top of this, you get a first class treatment from Rachida. She is always ready to help and she prepares breakfast with a varity of marrocain bread and specialities. And do not miss her great cooking for dinner. Really a treat and recommendable. Thank you to Pierre for all the help before and during our stay. Highly appreciated.

TRES BEAU RIAD SPACIEUX
Nous venons de passer 5 jours entre amis dans ce très grand Riad. Rachida est une personne de confiance, très dévouée, ponctuelle et toujours souriante. Ses petits déjeuners sont délicieux et copieux. Nous recommandons ce Riad et surtout Rachida qui nous a permis de passer un excellent moment.

Très beau Riad/ exceptionnel accueil
Grand Riad, très joliment décoré, en bon état. Beaucoup d’espace même pour u e dizaine de personnes dont des enfants. Situé dans un quartier populaire authentique (sans problème de sécurité). Une des merveilles du Riad reste Rachida, accueillante, prévenante et toujours prête à rendre service. Un beau lieu pour une belle personne.

Fantastic Villa with great atmosphere
Amazing house - great details, super nice breakfast (pancakes, bread, fresh orange jus). Rachida was a great hostess, we felt very welcome. She was there for us for questions, help with excursions, and....she also cooked for us (for 17,50 euros per person, a 3 course meal). House is oase of rest in this busy town. Great places with shadow and fantastic garden. Swimmingpool small (and not deep) but children loved it . Beds matrasses are very (very!) hard.

Fremragende familiested med fantastisk service af husmor Rachida.
Vi var der i en uge og vil helt klart komme tilbage til dette fantastiske sted. Beliggenheden var perfekt for os dvs 1200 meter til den store plads. Riad får topkarakter fra os og Rachida får top top karakter af os. Hun laver lækkert mad og gør alt for at gøre vores ophold så godt som muligt. We Love her :-)

Calme au cœur de la médina
Séjour fin décembre, début janvier. Très agréable Riad tenu par une personne très attentionnée, Rashida, qui nous a préparé deux repas marocains très appréciés et de très bons petits déjeuners. Une personne ressource formidable. Seul bémol, ce Riad aurait besoin de changer son linge de maison et de régler le problème de chauffage dans le salon/salle à manger. Les chambres étaient confortables. Nous suggérons aux propriétaires d’équiper la cour intérieure de braseros afin de pouvoir en profiter les soirs d’hiver. 08/01/2020

élégant dépaysant un service parfait
Nous étions 8 durant 6 jours. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le Riad est tel que défini., élégant et apaisant Il est très propre et agréable, le patio est très sympa. Parlons du personnel... Rachida est une femme merveilleuse toujours souriante d une gentillesse sans fin. Nous avons goûté à ses petits déjeuner, qui sont parfait. Du coup, nous regrettons de ne pas avoir pris de repas au Riad. Rachida est de très bon conseils. Bien que le Riad soit vraiment un havre de paix, je dirai que Rachida a participé à 70% à la réussite de notre séjour. Je conseils vraiment ce Riad.
