"This is a very nice hotel at a reasonable price. The staff were very helpful with all our questions, the restaurant served great food, and the cleaning staff kept the place immaculate. The only problem I saw was a lack of lighting in the desk area in our room."

"We had a lovely stay this the Monopol - great location, lovely breakfast and the kids loved the pool. My only irk was the lighting in the bedrooms - the rooms were incredibly dark with little natural light and only dim mood lighting dotted about. This made it difficult to get ready properly/do make up without looking like a clown once you got outside."

"First of all the hotel is in a fantastic position for Sightseeing it’s as close as it gets for the square. The staff are fantastic and most helpful. We were in a 4 star room and it’s basic, nice twin bed shower pressure adequate and be warned there is No safe in the room, the breakfast wasn’t for us and we had breakfast out on last day although they did bacon on second day so had a bacon roll. But the issue I had the fantastic bar they have, shuts at 9:00 at night which is unfortunate thought it may have stopped open a bit later for guests. On the positive side the bed was comfortable, more importantly the town square and food outlets are all within 100m from the front door."

"Beautiful modern hotel in Wroclaw. A block from the main square and really easy to walk to everything you want to do. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect size for 2 people with 2 giant suitcases. Love that they have a water station on every floor and they give you a glass carafe to fill. Beds are comfortable, air conditioning worked great, bath amenities were good quality. We had a room facing the interior atrium and it was nice though it makes it a little harder to check on the weather before going outside. If you care about that, ask for a room with a window facing outside. Definitely recommend this hotel."

"Great location, but not quite a four-star experience The hotel has an excellent central location, very close to Ostrów Tumski, Hala Targowa and tram stops, with the Old Town and Rynek only about a five-minute walk away. Our twin room was very spacious, with plenty of storage, and the bathroom was also a good size. It was cleaned daily, towels were changed regularly, and the air conditioning was quiet and efficient. The hotel was clean, smelled pleasant, and the reception staff were extremely polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the twin beds were extremely narrow and uncomfortable. My husband had to be very careful not to fall off the bed during the night. For a four-star hotel, the amenities were also disappointing. The bathroom only provided combined shower gel/shampoo, hand soap and shower caps. There was no body lotion or other basic toiletries. There was also no iron or ironing board in the room — we had to request one. The door couldn't be properly locked from inside, which would be concerning for a solo traveller, and the curtains weren't blackout, letting in quite a lot of morning light. There is no gym or spa, only a sauna. Breakfast was average rather than luxurious, with a somewhat limited choice of bread, sweet and healthier options. Overall, a clean hotel with a fantastic location and lovely reception staff, but several details could be improved to meet four-star expectations."

"Great hotel in an excellent location Really enjoyed my stay at Scandic Wrocław. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Wrocław Główny station and around 10–15 minutes on foot from the Old Town and Rynek. The room was clean, modern and well equipped with a comfortable bed, fridge, kettle, iron and ironing board, TV, desk and separate table with comfortable chairs. The bathroom was modern with both a shower and bathtub. My only minor criticism was that the pillows could have been more comfortable. There’s a small but useful 24-hour gym and a family-sized sauna available at various times. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Standard check-in is 16:00, although early check-in or late check-out is available for around 80 PLN. Overall, excellent value, comfortable and ideally located. I would happily stay here again."
