Christina was extremely helpful to us! We greatly enjoyed everything about this property - very well kept inside and out, extremely quiet and peaceful, located in close proximity to town of Mariposa and to Yosemite. We would return again in a heartbeat, we enjoyed our stay over New Year's so much. Thank you for everything Christina!
This house was perfect and comfortable for our family of 5. The beds were all very comfortable and we never had a bad nights sleep. The view is just stunning. We were up every mornong watching the sun come over the mountains. Juat breathtaking and could spend hours just looking out. The back yard area was also very well maintained, and landscaped beautifully and had all the entertainment we could need.

Overpriced-Poor Service
We booked this house, willing to pay more for the amenities it advertised. It turned out it was not worth it.
The fire pit/deck area had a large bee infestation. I reported it to the owner. She said she’d send out her landscaper. They never responded. We attempted to clear it out, no luck. Unfortunately didn’t allow us to use the deck or enjoy the Fire-pit.
The Hot tub was dirty, and barely functional. I again, reported to the owner, and reminded her about the bees. Only to give me an ultimatum to check out early or give me a $100 refund. She seemed to not have any concern, and ultimately accused me of trying to get a free stay. For the bees, she said they are a part of nature, she wouldn’t be doing anything about it.
While the house and location are excellent. The customer service fell short. She was responsive, but with attitude, and ended up not addressing anything.
Broken Hot Tub
Broken Foosball table(not reported to owner)
Not useable sundeck(bees)
Not useable Fire pit(bees)
FYI the house has a fireplace, but don’t bring wood. You can only use duraflame logs. Not allowed to burn wood.
Our stay in the area was great, the house was very nice, but the owner’s lack of concern and perceived attitude drives my rating. She did end up refunding $100 for the hot tub, but given her poor service and the overall cost it was insulting.
The outdoor amenities and layout are well designed and highlight the property. Location to Yosemite park entrance (45 mins) and village of Mariposa (8 mins) strikes an excellent balance.
We stayed here while visiting Yosemite. The house is perfect - great spaces and the outdoor areas are so nice and well done. You will love staying here!
Loved everything about this place - the house, game room, hot tub, the kids even braved the cold to jump in the pool and the views! Comfortable bedding, kitchen ware, appliances, Sonos system -all amenenities were top notch. Location was perfect for our day trips to the park! Thank you so much for sharing your property - if we are ever back this way we will be staying here again.

National Park Getaway
My family booked this home based on the proximity to the local town and distance to Yosemite. It has great sunrise views on the deck. The hot tub was nice and we utilized it well. The game room was lacking and we had an issue with the water at the house but the property manager promptly took care of it, even on a Sunday. We don’t believe the value was worth the cost, but we enjoyed our stay.
We stayed here during our Yosemite vacation. Location felt secluded, but close to town. The outside amenities were perfect. The hot tub was exactly what the adults needed after each day of hiking. The kids enjoyed the pool and private hang out spot. There were amble towels and blankets. We enjoyed our stay.
This home is perfect. I will say if you’re traveling before April tire chains are highly recommended! The house is high up in the hills, and we experienced every sort of weather. Christina was easy to reach & so accommodating. We hope to be back in warmer weather where we can better utilize the amazing outdoor space.
I wish I could buy this house!! Favorite of all time!
The pictures do not do this home justice. Even after visiting Yosemite (about 45 min away) all we wanted to do was get back to this magical home and location. I plan on making this an annual vacation and going back every year (or as long as it is rented) - it has everything you need- views of the sunrise and sunset with 280 degrees of beautiful birds, complete privacy, and all the comforts of home. Incredibly tasteful furnishings and all sorts of lovely personal touches. I am afraid to say more for fear it will always be rented! It is a gem and I cant wait to go back!
A beautiful view, total privacy, great pool & hot tub
The layout and design of this property is terrific. Although some updating and deep cleaning (inside & out) & the promised COVID cleaning was heavily needed, it is a very nice place for a family to spend time together. The Master bath has a constant sewer-like odor 24/7 so if you are sensitive to smell, consider this. I left the bathroom window opened, closed the door, ran two fans, and it helped a little. Water pressure is low for showers and dish washing. The bedroom with a queen bed was tight and not so comfy for two people (especially if tall). The Master bed mattress was very good. The pool and hot tub were a delight and the views were lovely. There are some paths to walk various parts of the property and you will see quail, deer, various birds, and butterflies! The road leading to the driveway/house is long, not paved, rough, has hills, so be aware of this. We were in AWD cars too. The one neighbor has cattle dogs that will chase your car so use caution. Especially if you have car trouble as we did. I'm not sure it's a good idea to walk the road leading to the house. The dogs may chase you. The house is under an hour to Yosemite which is nice. It's great to return to the pool & hot tub after a day at the park.
We have 4 kids 12 to 20 years old and hadn't been together as a family since Christmas. This home, the location, the amenities...everything, was just perfect! We even canceled one of our days in the park to just be at the house as a family. Playing in the pool, grilling meals...some of the best memories of the week. The host was easy to deal with and responded promptly to any questions. Thank you for such a special week!
We have stayed in a lot of rentals and can’t say enough about this house. Located ~ an hour from Yosemite (during peak 4th of July, likely shorter during other times) it had great access to the park and just a short drive into Mariposa for groceries and restaurants. We, however, would have been fine just staying at the house. It was super clean, beds were very comfortable and the backyard was the star. We couldn’t wait to relax in the hot tub after hiking each day and loved just hanging on the deck overlooking an amazing view. It was also so well equipped with even the simple touches - well stocked kitchen, towels that wrapped around the body, blankets to lounge on the couch, games to play, hand soap at every sink. The driveway is long, a bit windy and a little steep but it is worth it.
The property was beautiful. You were just out of town but felt like you were a million miles away from everyone. Easy access to Yosemite. Only complaint was low water pressure.
My family booked Christina's place for Christmas and it was perfect! The house was amazing--beautifully decorated, well-stocked for our cooking needs, spacious, and cozy. I loved that there were games for us to play and a fireplace to sit around. The property was even more amazing. The views were incredible from the top of the hill! The photos don't do it justice! The landscaping was beautiful, the hot tub was relaxing, and it had everything we needed and more to have a good time.
While the house felt super secluded, it was also only an hour's drive to Yosemite Valley and 7 minutes to the town of Mariposa which was fun to explore for the day. It is up a dirt road, but it's well maintained and we made it perfectly fine with our Prius even in the rain.
Lastly, Christina, is a wonderful host. She was communicative, accomodating, and super responsive to any inquiries that I had. I would definitely go back! Thank you so much, Christina!
Beautiful property! We enjoyed Thanksgiving day and had all we needed to prepare and enjoy our feast. We also used the hottub and sat by the outside fire, enjoying the view, and it was wonderful! We drove 45 minutes to Yosemite. The bunkbeds were not ideal for adults, but we all had a bed. The bathrooms were nice. We enjoyed our stay.
Words can’t describe the beauty and perfection of this property. We were blown away and the pictures are beyond accurate. It exceeded all of my expectations.
Such a wonderful experience. Close enough to Yosemite to make some day trips into the park, and far enough from everything else to feel truly peaceful.
