Our room was mostly clean. The bathroom looked like it had been used without cleaning, bar soap open in the tub, towel hung on the back of the door, and empty TP roll. The tub was slick when showering and it domed in the middle, so it was difficult to keep my footing. The ice machine was not working. The staff were very kind and helpful.
Despite the sign saying “newly renovated”, I think they skipped my room which was smelly and had dirty, very worn and outdated carpet. The person who checked me in was okay, the drunk woman smelling of weed who was hanging out at the check in desk was irritating. Not worth the price I paid, won’t stay here again.

This is an old property that has been remodeled, but it is clear that care and attention has been given to this property. This was a great find and value on I-57 and we’d stay there again.
The property was well maintained, great convenience. What I didn't like was I did not get the room I booked. I booked and paid for a Double Queen bed suite and I got a Double full bed room and I was not reimbursed the cost difference and no accomodations was made to even try and resolve the issue. Quite disappointing!
Very nice staff at check in. Expedia had me in a smoking room even though I chose nonsmoking and she changed it right away.
Room was clean. Price was affordable and bfast in the morning was nice.
We had excellent new mattresses and comfortable pillows. It was our most comfortable sleep all week on vacation, and we were just passing through.

Dirty room, no cold water in bathroom sink, no microwave in the room. Employee stated that there wasn’t a microwave because it was a “suite" ! Which doesn’t make sense since the check out employee says only suits have them!
Sign outside states “remodeled rooms, NOT mine! Will not stay at one again!

Room was in good condition, excellent hot breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Room could have been a little cleaner, but you notice more stuff when you have a toddler that plays in the floor

Only problem no blackout curtains in the ro we stayed in, and the water stayed hot for 5 min so it he hot tub was a fail

Hotel was very run down and poorly maintained. Room smelled funny, heating unit was dirty, carpet unclean, and stain on bedspread. Staff was okay, but maintenance guy was clearly not doing any. Breakfast was good and served early, which was nice.

Room condition was sub par. Beds not very comfortable, and we made the mistake of accepting twin beds vs the more standard queens.

No maid service, never had that before in all my many travels. I was told typically the rooms are not made up unless requested. What?? Bed super comfortable, need more pillows. Linens/towels were super white and clean also, bonus points.

If we don't see that on your door we do not bother our guests. There is always some on the front desk if you need them we are sorry you were not told about this during check in. It was great for the price. Clean good breakfast. The carpet probably should be replaced. You can smell a little bit of the old time wins smoking was allowed or it’s because they do have smoking rooms and maybe that soup sent but overall for the price I was greatly placed.

The whole hotel smelled like smoke. Halls, stairs, rooms, the only area that didnt smell of heavy cigarette smoke was the lobby but you could still smell it.
