It was the perfect space for us to stay. Feels very welcoming as soon as you enter. Property was clean check in and out were easy. The host was so wonderful with our reservation and communication was a breeze. VRBO had the sleeping space listed as 8 but this property sleeps easily 10-12\. We don’t need the additional space just info for those that are reading reviews. Lovely place will definitely stay again. ##### Malarie B. It was very nice in the mountains, even if we had to drive 2 hours or an hour to get some groceries it was still a nice time being with my family, we played board games till we got tired, we watched movies in the basement. We would always go out to walk or just to explore. It was amazing there. Me and my family had tons of fun!! 😋 We definitely recommend this place!! 100% would go again for the summer. ☺️ ##### Faustino T. The quality is impeccable. Amenities abound! Cooking utensils, grill, coffee pot, linens, wireless, all there. We enjoyed ourselves so much! The owners communicated clearly and provided excellent directions, instructions, and contact information. They also had light switches and fab switches labeled which was fantastic and so user friendly. The nest ac worked beautifully. The ONLY negative is they truly need to replace the oversized, for children only bunk beds with actual bunk beds that adults can safely sleep on. Pressed wood inserts are not user friendly. This was the best place I’ve ever rented and if I could give it more than five stars I would. ##### Jessica Stayed 2 nights in May 2024 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Charity D. 24 Sept 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great spot for hiking waterfalls Stayed here with 5 kids between 4 and 8 to escape to the mountains. Everyone had a great time. Waterfall the kids could swim in was a 5 minute walk (and they loved it!) Linville Falls was only 30 min away, and we found an awesome beer garden on the way home with a trout pond and stream the kids got muddied in. Furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the house was well stocked with board games, movies, and kitchen appliances. House does creak, so was good to have the explanation beforehand. Of note: the head height of the bottom bunks is pretty low, so would not recommend for adults, but the little ones had no problem. The loft was very comfortable but noisy in the morning (so don’t plan on sleeping in haha). I would definitely come back here again. ##### Charity D. Stayed 2 nights in Sep 2023 ---
