"Middle of summer and it's 110 degrees out and the air conditioner was not on. It was 11:00pm, after a long drive and the room was an oven. It never really cooled down-miserable. Room clean and huge - great ice machine. Convenient. Would be 5 stars had the room been at least cooled to high 80's holding for a checkin."

"Dale has created an oasis in the hills.Strategic planting of trees and herbaceous plants.The placement of boulders around the pool and spa area.Speaking of the pool, it was a highlight of my trip. Saltwater, 6 foot deep end & a great way to start and finish your day.The Kitchen is well stocked for all your needs.There are several terraces outside to enjoy the views.I saw 2 bighorn sheep on my first night!!Dale is a great Host and was always available if anything needed attention.Overall, an awesome experience.Cheers."

"Perfect spot to see the stars! We went into the park because that was our original plan, but ended up heading back to the house. The stars were so clear! Definitely perfect for our needs.The house was clean, well stocked with dishes and anything we may have needed. It was easy to access and it is a very large property. With great views during the day or night."

"What a hidden gem! We are so glad we found it.Nothing but amazing things to say about the quality of the property and the hosts. For future guests, I would offer the following:- Don't sleep on The Rib Co. (Probably the best chicken tenders I've had - get then naked with the sauce on the side) - ribs are good too- Desert winds are no joke, so take all of the things Todd and Leslie say about safety seriously- The hosts live next door, but we never saw them after the check-in- Take the cushioned chairs out from under the porch and watch the stars, they're amazing (we were there during the new moon so it was extra dark)- 29 Palms is a fun town, so make sure you check out all that the local artists and business have to offerTruly a great stay, and cannot say enough wonderful things about it."

"House was very nice and inviting. The jacuzzi was super nice to sit in during the hot days. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Very private. The only wildlife we saw was chipmunks and roadrunners. No mice. Pitch black at night. Bring flashlights. The big building in the back is an expensive rental. It was vacant except for maintenance people. Thirty minutes from stargazing. About 9 miles from big box retailers. About 5 miles from little gift shops and restaurants. If ever in Joshua Tree again, we would stay here. Owners were very responsive to any questions or concerns. A perfect home base for vacationing in Joshua Tree."

"A Hidden Gem for Relaxation and Stargazing!This place was everything we’d hoped for in a peaceful, fun getaway, perfect for a girls weekend. The moment we arrived, we fell in love with the bright, cheerful design and the sense of privacy that comes with having two acres all to yourself. The outdoor hot tub and hammocks were absolute highlight, we spent our evenings unwinding under an incredible blanket of stars and our mornings enjoying the quiet desert atmosphere.The home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, from the well-stocked kitchen to reliable Wi-Fi and cozy living spaces. It struck the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern convenience.There was plenty of room to explore and relax outdoors. Every detail made it easy to disconnect from everyday stress and simply enjoy the surroundings.We had so much fun! The place was in such a unique location in the center of the desert, while incredibly accessible to Joshua Tree downtown and park. We had so many laughs, I already want to go back. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay!"

"Excellent stay. Very clean tiny home. Great kitchen with all pots, pans etc. Nice bathroom with rain-shower head in shower. Nice, comfortable queen bed. Apt washer/dryer. EV car charger. Nice gas fire pit, chairs, two hammocks. Nice little outside tv area w/chairs. I would stay here again. My wife & I loved it. I probably wouldn’t recommend more than two people. But I think four could stay? Neighbors are kinda close, but nice view blocks on fencing prevent direct view from either side. "
