"The Vidanta world resort is absolutely beautiful. It wraps around the river at Nuevo Vallarta all the way down to the beach. There is a Skydream cable car which is a great way to travel around the sprawling resort, the only problem with it is that when there is bad weather, and there are a lot of thunderstorms in July/August, the Skydream will shut down and turn you have to rely on the shuttle to take you around the resort. One morning, my family had to wait almost one hour for a shuttle to pick us up from one part of the resort to take us back to our suite. We did complain, as it’s lucky we didn’t have our flight home to catch that day. That was the only disappointment, other than that the cleanliness of our suite and the entire resort was immaculate. The restaurants are amazing, we tried Gong, Quinto and La Cantina. You need a reservation for all the restaurants apart from La Cantina, because most of them are fine dining. My favorite restaurant was actually La Cantina, the Mexican food was so delicious and the service was excellent. It’s also the more affordable option. The multiple pools are also beautiful, but the lazy river was closed on most days, also due to bad weather. We only got to try the lazy river once and it was fun and quite refreshing on the ring floats passing by the many waterfalls. They also had a water slide which was great fun for the kids. The pool service is also great, there are always people on hand to serve you food and drinks by the pools."

"Estuvimos una semana completa. El personal del hotel es muy amable, en especial los meseros. Las habitaciones muy cómodas , recién remodeladas. La comida en el buffet debe mejorar los postres, no son ricos. Los restaurantes de especialidades, están buenos. Los estacionamientos de discapacitados no los respetan. Mi esposo tiene una prótesis en la rodilla y solo un día pudimos estacionarnos en lugar de discapacitados. Los demás días tuvimos que dejar la camioneta muy lejos y los autos que estaban en hándicap no tenían tarjeton. En general estuvimos contentos y volvería. Ojalá mejoren las áreas de oportunidad."

"It is a very big beautiful property with great restaurants/ food choices and snack stands near the pools. There’s a nice kids pool that is very shallow and has slides and water falls. It has a theatre with nightly performances, we saw a great 70’s Disco sing & dance performance. It has a night club for 18 years and over with a DJ, that was great fun. The Lobby bar is a great hang out place to chit chat, have some drinks and/or play jeopardy kind of games, or just watch a large movie screen showing concerts and playing great music. The only down side is being far away from the airport. It’s 45 minute drive. And it’s not near any walking distance stores or other restaurants. We visited during early August and it’s very humid, so we were uncomfortable most of the time. And could cool down only when we returned to our room. The buffet and restaurants were not cool enough. Only the Japanese restaurant was cool. We were in sweat the entire trip. The water temperature in the pools are warm, too warm for our taste, we wanted to cool down and couldn’t. I suggest going when it’s not so humid."
