"We arrived at 5.15pm and found the doors closed and a sign on the door with a telephone number of the owner to call for arrivals after 4pm. We called the number and left a message, left with no option but to wait outside in a cold January day with a child. "The overall experience was good, ideal for a relaxing time. Really cozy bungalow, cleaning was satisfactory but not great. "In one word - Perfect. This Chateau is possibly the most beautiful place that we have stayed. We originally booked for the Roosevelt in the town, but the hotel was so poor we had to walk away. "Lovely hotel and grounds. Room was quite small but ok. Had an absolutely wonderful meal in the restaurant. "One night stay on way back from Spa. Hotel only recently built and everything feels fresh, new & modern. Lovely view over lake from room, which was very comfortable with superb bed and bathroom.
