We had an amazing stay of three days at this location and had a beautiful time there. During our stay there was a christmasmarket on the square behind the B&B which was so nice. People were very friendly and social and the surrounding was beautiful. Personally, we definitely recommend La Ferme Château de Laneffe to anyone who wants to explore the region around Laneffe and spreaded the word within our families to go there. We went on some nice fieldtrip to Dinant and made a stop Château Fort de Montaigle which was only 45 minutes away by car. On our way back home we visit the Abbaye de Villers.

Pleasant stay in heart of simple village

Lovely room in converted buildings. Danielle is a helpful host. When we arrived, our two dogs were not allowed to stay with us in the room or allowed into property. We had communicated they were travelling too but received no message back to say dogs were not permitted. The owner found them a stable to sleep in. Simple breakfast available, overpriced for what it was, but tasty enough. Room was very comfortable with plenty of space.

Landlady made clear - repeatedly! - this was not a hotel and had double booked one of our two triple rooms. She did find another hotel for two of my guests, but that is not what we wanted! We wanted the group together! So not at all impressed with the organisation or the breakfast which was poor for 15 euro per person.

Mooie accommodatie en omgeving je wordt vriendelijk ontvangen. Foto's komen overeen met de boeking die je doet. Vriendelijk personeel, eigenaresse spreekt zelfs Nederlands. Overig personeel vriendelijk. Goed ontbijt. Een aanrader om te verblijven.

Magnifique établissement et séjour

Super séjour ! La patronne de l’hôtel madame Danielle Goyens est formidable et d’une gentillesse extraordinaire. Nous y sommes déjà retournés 2 fois d’ailleurs. Magnifique infrastructure, repas excellent et une ambiance familiale qui met vraiment à l’aise. Je recommande cet établissement.

Left us waiting outside. Very rude owner - TO AVOI

We arrived at 5.15pm and found the doors closed and a sign on the door with a telephone number of the owner to call for arrivals after 4pm. We called the number and left a message, left with no option but to wait outside in a cold January day with a child. The owner called us back only 1.15h later!!! All this time we were supposed to wait outside on a cold winter afternoon. Likely for us a lady (I assume from the family) was passing by the entrance and opened the door letting us in. I understand that this is not a hotel, but they must find a solution to accommodate guests on arrival. Simply leaving them waiting outside is NOT acceptable. In addition the lady who called me back, I assume the owner, was very rude. No apologies from her side, apparently she had a dentist emergency. She was almost shouting at me and kept saying "we are not a hotel" and "this can happen". Beds are really uncomfortable with tiny pillows, impossible to sleep on. On a plus side, the breakfast was lovely, served by a very friendly lady.

Un bel agriturismo all'esterno molto curato, le camere migliorabili, i bagni dovrebbero essere fornite di docce nuove. Colazione ottima, solo una pecca, bisogna fornirla di macchina nespresso, in quanto non vi è nemmeno una macchina espresso per fare il cappuccino o il caffè, che per noi italiani è di fondamentale importanza

Nie wieder

Kurz vor der Anreise bekamen wir einen Anruf, dass bei der Buchung im Hotel ein Fehler unterlaufen sei. Die Adresse für ein Ausweichhotel konnten wir uns dort abholen. Wir wurden im Hotel von einem großen Hund begrüßt, der aus der privaten Küche kam. Im 10 km entfernten Ersatzhotel mussten wir 20 €/pro Nacht mehr bezahlen und es gab kein kostenloses WLAN. Der Standard des Zimmers entsprach nicht der Beschreibung unseres gebuchten Hotels. Fazit für uns: Nie wieder! PS: Die obigen Bewertungen waren systembedingt erforderlich, weil wir sonst diesen Kommentar nicht absenden konnten und entsprechen (außer "Allgemeine Bewerttung") nicht den eigenen Erfahrungen.

Le château-ferme est splendide ainsi que la restauration des bâtiments. Les champs qui l'entourent accentuent sa beauté. Nous n'y sommes restés qu'une nuit et n'ont donc pas su profiter pleinement de cet endroit magnifique.
