Lovely beachy decor. Enclosed courtyard was handy. Walking distance to dog-friendly cafes and restaurants. Upstairs really needs an aircon (too hot to use during the day).
Would stay again.
The place was in a perfect location for exploring, pet-friendly, and featured a quaint little courtyard. It had everything you need and was clean and tidy.
The host interaction was as expected when checking into a stayz. They provided all the necessary information. However we had issues with noise from neighbours throughout our stay which we attempted to managed directly unsuccessfully so we escalated to the host who just put it back on us. This made for a very unrestful stay as we were awake with noise at night- music, machines squeaking and then again very early 5.30/5.45 with them conversing loudly & starting up/ idling cars. Definitely would not recommend if you want a peaceful stay! Also very bright very early in the first two rooms with the sunrise directly on that side.Amenities were basic. No tissues, no alfoil or baking paper to use on the oven trays, some lamps not working, plug did not fit the bath. Pictures definitely look better than the real thing. Quite an old dwelling with very narrow, steep stairs- wouldn’t recommend for young children or older people. We had to barricade them off for safety. Some positives were the location and that it was pet friendly.
Close to town, neighborhood was a bit noisy. Three double beds were great.

Enjoyable
3 bed town house in a top location for exploring the town, walks and local breweries. Ideal for mountain bikers . Although I must not say to much as it might be constantly booked up next time we want to stay
Upon arrival we were immediately happy that we rented this property. Just a stone’s throw from the Main Street yet so close to walking trails along the river banks and forrest. Our two dogs loved the place too. We’re already talking about returning here.
Great location. House is failing well equipped but could do with something to clean up leaves outside. Beds were comfy.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
he accommodation was as we expected, the website photos are accurate.
Unfortunately, the house needs maintenance, care and lacked cleanliness. Examples included
1. Ants in the laundry on arrival and then found in the ground floor toilet and kitchen. We purchased surface spray and ant traps.
2. The outdoor area is poorly maintained and clearly had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The outdoor table was dirty and covered in spider webs. The clothesline is not in good condition and we had to spray for spiders and clean the cobwebs before we could use it.
3. The two trays for the oven were dirty and had to be scribed before use.
4. The door to the bathroom has been water damaged and gets stuck every time it gets closed and hense wakes the whole house.
5. The blind in the bathroom is disgusting dirty and does not open or close properly.
6. There are spiders and webs on most ceilings throughout the property and the exhaust fan in the bathroom is covered in thick dust.
7. The shower is leaking into the ground floor toilet, this has clearly been an ongoing issue given the damage to the light fitting in the toilet.
8. The external wheelie bins (red) are overflowing and have ants in them. It is not clear from the instructions what bins are meant to go out when. The three-bin system is not explained
9. The area around the front of the property is clearly not maintained.
10. The vacuum cleaner is blocked and there is no indoor broom.
11. No door or window locks mean you cannot leave a window partly open at night-time.
12. Having fans withe extension cords in the bedrooms is a safety risk. Having three ceiling fans would be highly recommended. One of the fans is broken.
13. The carpets looked like they had not been cleaned as there was hair on them.
14. Shelves in the bedroom cupboards were dirty and had to be cleaned prior to use.
Whilst I understand we are staying during peak time and we had no expectation that we would be staying somewhere high end but this is simply unacceptable.
We have absolutely loved the holidays we have had with our dogs here. It is in a perfect spot town and we loved the extra touches of a bottle of local wine and some biscuit treats for our dogs!
we had a great stay here. Walking distance to the main street and all the benefits.
We had some trouble with the fire (just not knowing what to do) but heat the place nicely with the reverse cycle ac! Nice back up there! Haha
the house is beautifully set up and so cosy with the pot belly fire place, the location makes it perfect to walk into town for a coffee or to the farmers markets in Saturday morning. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip
Overall, a great little apartment to stay in. Lacks basic supplies but a lovely bottle of Cape Grace wine was a terrific way to enjoy our first night. 1 minute walk to the IGA and main road of Margaret River is even closer. About 5 minutes walk to Margaret River Brewhouse. Loved our stay here and the dogs had a blast as well!
