Just quietly, adults love it too! The home is nestled amongst its own 8 acres and is located 3 minutes from the famous Surfers Point and 10 minutes from Town. There are cycle/walkways near the property that lead to both. The safe family beach of Gnarabup with the renowned “White Elephant’s” coffee and The Commons Bistro are less than 2 kms further on. Carpe Artes looks over the Indian Ocean beyond, simply amazing. There is access to a private tennis court and pavilion (which it shares with Carpe Vino and Carpe Mykonos, the adjoining properties, each with their own 8 acres). Tennis racquets and balls are provided. Fully appointed with brand-new equipment and furnishings this modern residence comprises 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms and a large outdoor deck. It comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. TOP FLOOR Bedroom 1: King size bed and ensuite, sleeping 2 Bedroom 2: Queen size bed, sleeping 2 Bedroom 3: Queen size bed, sleeping 2 Bathroom for Bedroom 2 and 3 to share GROUND FLOOR Bedroom 4: Queen size bed + single bunk beds, sleeping 4 Bathroom for Bedroom 4 There is a 65 inch TV, European slow combustion wood heater for those cool winter evenings, reverse cycle air conditioned living area, computer nook, and a children’s TV in the bunk bedroom. Bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans. The kitchen is very well stocked for those looking for cooking and baking wares. Featuring a large fridge/freezer, electric hotplate and oven, microwave, coffee machine and much more. The dining table seats a group of eight. Enjoy a barbecue and glass of Margaret River wine on the deck as you watch the sunset and listen to the birdlife. Lighting enhances the long driveway through the bush and the trees are visible from the deck. Linen and towels are provided and laundered. We also have a washing machine (with detergent) and dryer in the laundry should the need arise. Other amenities include dishwashing liquid, sponges and tea towels, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, tea and coffee, sugar, plastic wrap, foil, paper towels and serviettes. There are plenty of bushwalks and it’s at sunrise and sunset you will usually see kangaroos feeding. For golfers the Margaret River golf club is less than a kilometre away and they welcome visitors. The whole area is covered in wineries, at which you can sample their foods and wines. The world renowned Cape Mentelle vineyard is very close to the property. You will find everything you need to enjoy a short break or an extended stay at Carpe Artes.
