Escape to this romantic and newly renovated (2021) modern cabin nestled in a quiet lakeside cove near Marble Falls—just 17 minutes past Lago Vista and 5 minutes from Flat Creek Winery. Tucked away on 1.75 peaceful acres, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath getaway is perfect for couples, solo travelers, or a small family looking to unwind and recharge.

💧 About the Water
The cabin is on well water sourced from a local quarry, so you may notice a mild sulfur smell—it’s completely safe. For the best-tasting drinking water, a filtered pitcher is provided in the fridge. Also to keep the sulfur smell at bay, the water heater is turned up so please be careful when using hot water. There are signs posted for caution.

🚫 Note: The boat and jet ski are off-limits.
🚫 Absolutely no diving from the top deck of the dock—doing so will result in immediate termination of your reservation. Safety first!

You’ll need a car to reach the property. The cabin is located at the end of a dirt road, and while everything on the property is walkable, there’s a gentle uphill slope from the lake—best suited for guests in reasonably good physical condition.

We’re thrilled to share that the property is officially waterfront once again! Guests can enjoy serene lake views and the peaceful atmosphere that makes Lakeside Drive such a special place.
Please note: While lake access has returned, we encourage all guests visiting during July to check local sources for current water safety updates due to recent flooding. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please refer to the LCRA website (Lower Colorado River Authority), which oversees conditions on the Highland Lakes, including Lake Travis.
The lakeside experience may vary with seasonal changes, but the beauty and tranquility of this location remain year-round.

Consumables:
We include a reasonable starter amount of toilet paper, paper towels, and other consumables like organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish detergent, and laundry detergent. Beyond the starter package, our guests are expected to manage their refills for any extended stays beyond 7 days.

Security Cameras:
For the safety of both guests and the property, we have exterior cameras actively recording video and audio of the porch, exterior parking, and front door. Guests staying 30 days or more can request access to the cameras for their extended stay. Guests are not to disable or interfere with the broadcast of the cameras and are at risk of forfeiting their stay. No tampering. Unless there is excessive activity, cameras are not constantly monitored.

Absolutely no parties and a strict noise ordinance, please! Quiet hours are 10 pm - 6 am.
Check-in/check-out times are strictly enforced using timed electronic locks.
No unregistered guests or pets. We do occasionally monitor the exterior cameras at check-in for guest count and pets. Unregistered guests or pets not disclosed will be charged.

Additional documentation will be required to rent this property managed via email and DocuSign. We also take a credit card on file for a deposit. While we are pet-friendly, we have BREED RESTRICTIONS due to insurance policies. No whole or in part mixed breeds of any of the following: ROTTWEILER, PIT BULL, STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER, DOBERMAN PINSCHER, AKITA, ALASKAN MALAMUTE, SIBERIAN HUSKY, WOLF BREEDS, CHOW CHOW, GREAT DANE, PRESA CANARIOS, MASTIFF. NOTE: THERE IS NO FENCE.

This is our personal vacation home that we love and have decided to share with others. You may see some of our belongings under the bed or in the pantry in addition to some condiments in the fridge. Mostly we will contain our private things in the shed.

By booking, you agree to our rental terms, provide the necessary documents before check-in, and understand that check-in details will be sent after we complete the verification.
We'll also place a temporary hold of $500 on your credit card as a security deposit. This hold is just a pre-authorization and will be released automatically within 2 days after check-out, as long as everything goes smoothly.

Pest Control:
We also perform regular pest control to keep the space comfortable, but since we’re close to nature, you might occasionally encounter a critter or two.

Pet Fee/s:
We’re happy to welcome pets! The pet fee is $100 for one pet for the entire stay. If you’re bringing a second pet, please let us know in advance—an additional fee of $50 applies for short-term stays or $100 for long-term stays. Unauthorized pets will incur a $300 charge per pet. Thanks for understanding!

Late Check-Out Policy:
Late check-out requests are subject to approval and must be made at least one day before your scheduled check-out. The rate for approved late check-outs will be charged as a percentage of your nightly rate. Please note that unauthorized late check-outs will incur a fee of $50 per hour.

All guests are required to fill out a renter's agreement, upload their ID to confirm the reservation, and pay a $500.00 refundable security deposit.

Property was as described with amenities and a stocked kitchen. Backyard was gorgeous with the bluebonnets. It was small, as the description stated, but fit our family if four just fine. If you have small kids, be aware that there are two steps up and two down to get from living space to the bathroom. However, our 4 year old handled them just fine.
