Perfect House for us
We love staying on Morton Street and this house suited us perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed the furnishings & layout of the house, screened in porch, paddleboard, kayak,dock and peaceful neighborhood. The kitchen was stocked well with dish and cookware, very important to us as we mostly dined in. We loved this place and look forward to returning!

This was our second stay at this home. The perfect layout for a group. Private bedrooms with private baths. Perfect location for visiting the Keys. American Costal Vacations are great to work with and we will definitely use them again.

Annual New Year’s trip to Florida
We were four couples in the home had plenty of room. The only small room was the one off the dining room. We love the screened porch spent a lot of time out there. The pool was heated so we were able to swim every day. Also, we rented a pontoon boat the dock was right there. The house has everything you need. The location was great, but there’s no restaurants real close to walk to, but we did take the boat to some .

This house worked out great for our trip. We had two separate families staying and one was on each side of the house. The 4th bedroom is off the living room with glass doors and curtains. We had some issues with the pool not heating upon arrival and the rental company had it fixed within 24 hours. Great service! The linens could use some updating but there were plenty of towels and pool towels provided. Be prepared to buy all household items such a toilet tissue, cleaners and laundry detergent. Also there are no kayaks, snorkeling gear or anything to enjoy the gulf so we ended up renting a lot of that. The dock was awesome! My daughter loved swimming around all the fish in the clear water. Even spotted some sea stars and rays. The pool area is ok. Chairs and tables are down there but there is gravel everywhere which makes it hard on Kids feet. Bring some water shoes! Overall this property is updated, clean and has amazing views. For the price that we paid in April it should have come with more amenities.

Wonderfully decorated home on the water overlooking the gulf. Picture perfect sunsets every evening. Pool, outside sitting area and screened porch helped you relax and enjoy a slower way of life.

House review
The inside of the house was beautiful but the outside could use some updates and maintenance. There was a broken railing on the stairs, the other railing was loose and the heat did not work at all in any of the bedrooms. We had 2 people in our party with disabilities and the railing issues made the stairs treacherous.

Absolutely Fantastic
This place was amazing. It had everything we needed and wanted. We spent some days just lounging around the pool and in the gulf waters and some days exploring Grassy Key and surrounding Keys. This place was what we needed after a long 18 months of being stuck inside. The local iguanas, brown anoles, and Giant Amieva’s entertained my four year old son every day. We even rented some paddle birds and kayaks which were dropped off at the house. All appliances worked as needed and the house stayed a cool 72 all day. 10/10 and fully recommend.

We loved our stay in Grassy Key and the house was perfect for two families. Having the boat right behind the house was so convenient and the kids had a blast swimming off the dock and in the pool.

Remarkable home in quiet secluded area.
Beautiful home, with everything you could possibly need. Great fishing off dock. Kids had a blast. Only draw back is that there is are several large Iguana's that have taken up residence in the pool area and they aren't " litter trained " so to speak. Leaving you quite a mess to clean up on a daily basis. They need to go.

Wonderful private location. Awesome Sunsets. Space for togetherness and also privacy when needed. We had a manatee visit, saw a squid lots of tropical fish. Well worth a little extra money !

Peaceful, Easy Feeling!
We had a wonderful time at Grassy Key! This home is beautiful! We paid for the pool heat and swam every night. The house is off of the highway so there is no noise. We slept great, loved catching fish off of the dock, and watching the sunsets and thankful for a nice grill, and laundry. Just a spectacular place! Thank you so much! Jay and Gayle

Everything was just as expected! Beautiful home, nice long dock for fishing, sunsets, and a wonderful kitchen to work out of. We paid for the pool to be heated. Swam for hours every night and slept great! Nice neighborhood and off of the road. So quiet! Would definitely return! Thank you so much!

Incredible place!
We really enjoyed our week here! The sunsets every night were incredible, the calmness of the water and the sea life we saw every day was amazing! Lobsters, parrot fish, nurse sharks, puffer fish, angel fish.... almost everyday we saw something new!! I would highly recommend renting kayaks or paddle boards since the water is so calm - we enjoyed many trips around in the water!

Beautiful and well maintained home, views were beautiful. Well stocked- linens, towels, etc. Leslie checked in to assure everything was ok. Plenty of room for couples to have alone time and together fun. Screened in deck was awesome and well used by all! Decor was wonderful

Well maintained property that is a slice of paradise!
This was the most perfect trip. This location is so private and quiet. The most relaxing trip any of us have ever had. We had minor issues with pool heat and the rental company was there in less than 1/2 hour to take care of it. The sunsets are amazing from the dock. The location of Grassy Key is perfect for exploring the rest of the Keys, upper and lower. We couldn’t have been any more pleased with our rental selection and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful home
This home was beautiful and very clean. The screened porch was where we spent most of our time. The three main bedrooms were very comfortable. The 4th bedroom is a den with glass doors (with shades) right off the living room so can be loud and bright if people are still awake. The pool was the highlight and I am so glad we decided to heat the pool otherwise it would not have been comfortable. When we called the management company with a couple of concerns they had a maintenance person out right away. I would rate this house much higher if the amenities would have been better. For a house of this size and nightly rate I would expect that certain house necessities be provided such as toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towel, dishwasher soap and hand soap. Also, if a management company is requiring you to do a certain amount of laundry before you leave then you should be provided with laundry detergent. We spent a lot of money buying these things only to leave 3/4 of it behind. I would assume other families have done the same yet nothing was left over in the house (with the exception of a bunch of beach towels). Also, for people traveling with small children that need to rent baby gear. We used Baby Borrow out of Miami and they delivered our gear to the Miami airport. There is a also a company in Key West (The Hip Tourist) but they only deliver and pick up from Marathon 2 days a week. I had a very hard time with little help from the management company finding a baby rental company. I would recommend that they consider purchasing a few pack n plays and high chairs to give to families traveling with small children. *** I would like to clarify that that in the rental agreement they state the house necessities aren't available, but if I am renting a house at this price point I expect them to be. I recommend charging a little more each night and providing them.

Fabulous!
We always rent a home for our vacation wherever we go. Having been to Marathon previously, we knew we wanted to stay there again. We decided on this house because of the dock and layout for our 3 three sons and ourselves. The house is wonderfully located and feels private. The Gulf access and views are fabulous! We loved the dock and the pool area...very relaxing. Parking is covered and you could park several cars. The inside of the house has a perfect beach theme. The kitchen is well-equipped and large. There's a wine cooler too w every countertop appliance you need. Living room is comfortable. Bedrooms are nicely done and the beds are quite comfy. Laundry is spacious. Bathrooms are beautifully updated w great water pressure. The master bedroom is on one side of the house and the other three bedrooms are on the other side and each one has a bathroom. The grounds are beautiful and feel very private. There's no down side or critiques for this house...it's perfect.

Overall a lovely property. Beautiful view of open Gulf and beautiful sunsets. Good location for quiet and still convenient to restaurants and fishing and boating. No serious problems. For one outdoor faucet drip, polite maintenance guy showed up right away and fixed it. Like most VRBO properties, little issues are common; dead light bulbs, switches that switch nothing, garden hoses that are past their prime, dull kitchen knives and no sharpener. Those issues were minor and our time here was a major delight. This house is on our "Return to" list.
